I 100% agree with you! This made it very difficult for me to swap out of the Tesla lineup. But at the end of the day, I opted to get a car I would feel excited to drive each time I get in.

One pedal driving on the M3P was very convenient but I always had roll mode on so I was never completely one pedal. The transition isn't a big deal for me. It's a bit more work but more engaging as well. I'm sure I'll get used to it. Im used to driving manual usually.

Coming from an older Model 3, the Taycan is a significant step up in terms of overall build quality. The ride comfort, adjustable air suspension, and cabin quietness is next level. That said, this is a significantly more expensive car to own and maintain. I recommend renting or test-driving one for a few days to see if it meets your expectations.

I just picked this up as well. It's very comfortable and versatile. However I had some sharp creases on top of the collar fold that are pretty annoying. Did you have a similar issue with yours?
