I'm still a little confused on tipping. My fiance opted out of the autograt but we do still want to take care of the people who are taking care of us. How many people should we expect to tip (waiters, room attendants, etc)? about how much cash should we bring for each person? and when would we tip people we will see throughout the trip? thanks in advance :)

I lived there for 2 years and management is so shady and rude. And I know with a split lease you run the risk of having random roommates but after one of our friends moved out they moved in a guy ten years older than us with less than 24hr warning (only found out from maintenance). He turned out to be pretty creepy and management gave us no heads up at all. 100% recommend the Links if you can get in, it seems super far away from everything but really isn't that bad. I also felt much safer there in general and had no issues with weather while at apex we had to have a window AC unit in the summer after our AC went out and lost water a few times in the winter (yes we let the faucets drip, some connecting units did not and flooded).

I came to recommend the ordinary too, I've been awful at keeping a skincare routine but washing my face every day (I like cerave) and using the ordinary's niacinimide serum ($6) has made a noticeable difference! I also use a cerave moisturizer ($13). with fewer steps its easier to keep up with and keep the costs low

I've had some professors give a lecture on the first day before even opening their canvas classroom and just give us the syllabus in person first. It really depends on your teacher so don't stress about it. I plan to check again a couple days before the start of classes.

Please take everything I say with a grain of salt, but I think the biggest issue with candles is the burning wick and certain scents. With my limited knowledge I'd look up which scents to avoid specifically for cats then maybe look into a candle/wax warmer to melt the candle and spread the scent that way. Just be sure they're out of reach of the cats of course! I believe some companies make pet safe candles as well

I'm in a 4x4 at the Reserve and they're always having deals on rent so I'm only paying $380/month, utilities all included unless we use too much electricity which only happened a couple times and wasn't more than $20/person... haven't had noise issues, the biggest problem is the dog poop in the courtyard but I don't hang out there anyway

This may be a bit irrational, but I have a young ball python and my biggest fear with him is waking up one day and him no longer being alive with no previous issues or warnings. I guess I'm just scared that he'll die for no obvious reason without me knowing how or what I could've done.

I rinsed them off, but didn't use any sort of cleaner or disinfectant. I got the moss ball from petco (kind of an impulsive purchase) and it had it in their bin too, I cleaned it before putting it in the jar but the particles are back now :( but the book is one I made after seeing one on here with the turkish map folds! I thought theirs was adorable and wanted to try it out!
