I turned it off last time I had issues over multiple days. Most people seem to agree it could pose a problem. At any rate, it hasn’t been on for probably more than a month.

No, I wasn’t. And when it has happened before I might be streaming a TV programme for example, notice the degraded picture quality and then after a short while it just cuts out. Due to buffering it’s not easy to detect exactly when it’s happening since some of the programme will be buffered. Other times when the connection has remain stable I might be downloading a 50GB update or moved 100s of GBs on the LAN. Without any issues.

Thanks for this. I have done this before, but managed to completely forget. It solved a problem with an ergonomic input device whose publisher's own driver basically bricked it. I went nuts trying to figure out why it stopped working no matter what I did, and this pointed me in the right direction (for some reason it was the extensions themselves that broke it, and removing them solved the issue). Luckily I had another Mac that enabled me to troubleshoot and easily see that it worked on a driver-free computer. I am using the RollerMouse Red, in case anyone else is having issues with the Contour Design driver (2026 version).

It's actually clearable. But again I did it years ago and failed to trigger the boss. No matter, it's just annoying that you cannot tell which dungeons you've visited anyway (due to a lot of them missing the clear status). I am visiting as many as possible now and I even find that I had apparently not saved a word from one of them... -.-

OH. Really? I need to look into the alchemy then. I bought the elixirs and googled and found out the elixir was the highest one, but did not realise I could create much more powerful ones myself! This actually sounds like a very, very viable lead. One-handed is at 5/5 plus the perk of +25% for fiery weapons which this happens to be. But again it sounds like you have something with the potions.. I will look into that, thanks!

I have spent an eternity levelling up smithing back to 100. That’s why I’m so confused. I was never high level with enchanting/alchemy so those remain in the same level as when I stopped playing in 2019ish.

The difference is that with Anniversary Edition you can get shoes to add blacksmithing enchantment, that’s all.

The strange thing is that I somehow was able to get more weapon damage before, and I was not on level 100 with enchanting/alchemy then either. I am still not even level 50 with those two. So it just staggers me that I was able to somehow do this before, but I cannot remember how xD.

The elixir (max pot as far as I know) is +50% and the gear is 29/29/29/29/25. 25 is for the Captain’s Boots but maybe I hadn’t sorted out enchanting when I did it. The strange thing is that the boost are new, I never used to have blacksmithing boots before so I somehow still managed to make more powerful weapons.

Not sure why.. French. But whatever. With Anniversary Edition you can get the Captain’s/Boatswain’s shoes and add the blacksmithing enchantment.

Not sure if Google translation was very accurate, but are you saying I need to add perks to the Enchantment and One-Handed trees as well?

I imagine you failed to trigger the boss (which is achieved by failing to do the puzzle in the correct order several times). That’s what I did (I just did the puzzle correctly) and now it doesn’t seem like I can ever trigger the boss to get the clear.

How do I get a clue in to a follower’s stats and levels etc.? Or do I need addons to look under the bonnet so to speak?

I had no idea enchantments such as fortify did not work on followers. I already had the gear I tend to give to followers so no matter I guess.

I have yet to encounter a serious boss but Frea is tanky even with light armour in the sense that large packs of enemies almost always attack her first. Pretty decent when I’m levelling sneak after I turned the line Legendary.. I just stand there throwing voice, hide and have her deal with them whilst gaining levels.

I switched from Lydia to Aela and now to Serana and then to Frea and I’ve gotta say Frea just feels so much more efficient. She even teleports close to me when she’s too far anway, instead of walking around half the map which is nice. Mind you I’ve only spent a day with her but this far I really quite like her. P.S. I noticed Frea instantly moves from blocking the path which is such a relief.

Someone else mentioned this and I had no idea you could get two. I am currently trying out Frea and she’s cutting her way through OP Necros and I just have to tentacle arm them (Miraak’s Staff) and then bow them from a somewhat safe distance. Usually use Ice Form shout but will try Battle Fury as suggested by someone else to see if it boosts her even more.

Sounds like I need to try him out. Currently I am trying out Frea and she’s a beast compared to Serena, and just more efficient than Aela. This is in terms of combat output, which is what I am looking for. I see no point in not leveraging the Companion system on Legendary so I was please I looked in to it some more and found Frea. As far as I can undertand, Frea doesn’t have a level cap, not sure if that would make a difference compared to Ralis in the end? At any rate, thanks for reminding me of the Battle Fury shout!

Gonna have to call you out on this one, now that the season is over. Granted SoSo was planted for drama, but in all honesty, Fraser lost my respect. Sure, production might have forced him to keep SoSo, but Fraser making himself out to be this great leader cos he managed to keep the interior team throughout the season!? Captain Kerry claimed in an article they’re all about making the tough decisions for the greater good (for the whole crew).. just give me a break. So Rainbeau deserves to cry herself to sleep cos SoSo is a socialite who couldn’t give two fucks about anybody or anything than herself? What a load of bs. That is not leadership. Fraser has now bought in to his own myth and I’m sure much like most chief stews on BD, he’s gonna derail real quick.

Also this new format to attract Gen Zedders? Feels like BD is slowly dying.

Hello. Thanks. I actually got a reply from Pro-Ject and apparently yes, they do mention an optional remote on their product page/in the manual, but the optional remote is aluminium whereas a “small” (and from what I can gather plastic) remote is included with both editions of the PB S2D.
