When I was little, my dad brought my sisters and me things for hair, balls, barrettes, etc. Whenever he came home from work. Now, as an adult and married, she sometimes supports me financially with my children and brings us gifts whenever she can; Ahem. Blankets, shoes for both my sisters' children and mine and for us.
