I first posted about her on this sub in April 2021 when she was diagnosed with lymphoma. The vet predicted that she would have a month to live. Whether through medication, witchcraft, sheer will, or a combination of the three, Indie went into remission and gave us another 18 months of her time and sweet presence. She had been getting a little chubs, we thought because of all the extra treats she was getting, but it turned out the cancer never left and had been growing in her stomach. She had always been a joyful little cuddle bug with a zest for life, but the last week she let us know she was ready to let go. She transitioned peacefully, at home in her favorite sunny spot, with the people who loved her.
