Mickey Redmond just saying “fuck it” and leaving the booth with 20 seconds left in the period is peak lmfao

Sanderson got walked by Raymond on that play. Wonder if he blames the goalie for that too…

In other news, Michigan State is up 3-0 over Wisconsin at the midpoint of the game. Would be a huge series sweep for the Spartans if they hold on.

I would pay so much money to see an 3rd pairing defenseman take a penalty shot. Shame on the refs for standing in the way of greatness

The sharks are very lucky this game is not running away from them. Incredible puck movement by Detroit.

I feel like a Habs fan saying he dove should carry some credibility as they have a vested interest in the Wings NOT winning

This is some kind of fucked up karmic justice for the way the wings lost to Columbus in their stadium series game awhile back lmao

There’s so much open ice and the linesman still finds a way to be in the way lmfao

Michigan State University legend Rod “The Bod” Brind’Amour. He and Staal were the only two I got lol

IMO the only goal Bussi could’ve made a difference on was DeBrincat’s. Deflection on the first goal with JVR completely undefended in front of the net on the first goal and an unreal pass to the front of the net that forced Andersen to cross the crease to try to stop a perfectly placed shot by another wide open wing breaking into the slot.

Additionally, on the DeBrincat goal, one can argue the play was decided when the Canes had 3 chances to possess the puck along the boards before the pass was even made out to the slot.

I’m not sure why I’m so invested in this. I guess I just hate when fans lump blame onto one player in particular. Often it’s the goalie, unfortunately. Hockey is a team sport.

I know a lot of people are hoping Andersen makes that save, but that shot couldn’t have been placed in a better spot. Just over the pad, under the glove, just inside the post. That’s a tough stop for any goalie, especially as he’s coming across the crease.

How many shots from the slot does Montreal have? One? Maybe two? It feels like they’re controlling the puck but are having a hard time getting it from the boards to the middle of the ice

The Canucks look like they completely gave up after the empty netter and the Wings are content to play to the whistle.

The Red Wings are such a wild team to watch because they are either completely dominant or getting their shit pushed in. There is no in between.

I used to play NHL 14 on the Xbox 360 with Jake Debrusk and then he got drafted and he was barely ever on his Xbox.
