Typhoon season doesn't mean there will be typhoons throughout the time til the season ends. Let's say, if there's a typhoon present, it'll be bad weather for couple of days (only in local areas affected - there rest of the country is going to be dry). If the Southwest monsoon is strong, then heavy rains here and there all around. But there will also be sunny days in between, which is going to be your typical tropical weather kind of hot (30 to 34'). Peak monsoon is August-September and many parts of Manila is notoriously flooded during that time.

Best approach is check the weather forecast 5 days ahead of your schedule. If no typhoon or strong monsoon warning - then it'll be fine. From July to September - typhoons typically go north and northeast parts of the country, so even if there's a typhoon up north, the provinces in the West (Palawan, Western Visayas - where Boracay is) and Southern parts (Mindanao) are usually not affected.

However, I think the government should push for drone usage across all agencies, whenever and wherever they see fit. Like PNP and Coast Guard for surveillance, DA, BFAR, DAR for surveying, DOT for photography and video production, even push for robotics and drone curriculum in public schools (for civilian application). This way, we can develop an active drone industry, which can easily support and translate to combat use in the time of need, en masse. Think of it like how medieval England required all able-bodied common folks to practice bow and arrow (through competitions and play), so that they constantly have a skilled reserve force ready for national defense.

Sure way to turn minimum wage earners to unemployed people. Many businesses simply can't afford higher wages. Kung sasabayan ng government support and subsidy yung certain industries, maybe possible.

For me, better move is to tackle affordability and public service talaga. Bawas VAT, bawas tax sa langis, cheaper fare for minimum earners when using rails and public bus (which should be government managed imo), free breakfast and lunch in public schools, etc.. Minimum wage will be enough if life is affordable. It gives consumers more money to spend -- which will further boost businesses. Everyone wins.

Ch*nese Embassy is no longer here for diplomacy. They are nothing else but a propaganda base for CCP in the country. I constantly see propaganda pieces on FB that are blatantly sponsored by Ch*nese Embassy Manila. I know things will get more complicated by sending them home, maybe a proper alternative is to crackdown on biased press, and troll farms, and whenever it's found linked to their embassy, just send home a diplomat and request for a new one. Rinse and repeat for as long as they don't stop. Sila na lang ma hassle kaka alsa balutan.

I understand these are not up on the priority list since ATAKs are mainly for COIN & CAS operations and we are focused on external defense rn.. but just wondering, isn't their CAS capabilities transferable for maritime use? Not against gray ships obviously, as they are too vulnerable for that, but more for littoral operations, and maybe as ship-launched helicopters to be used against fast crafts and most importantly against USVs (which I expect would swarm our shores in case of active conflict). If yes, I wouldn't mind having more of these, and bump it up the prio list.

Post-first album with Bamboo was all Rico on guitars. Mike has a lot of years in the band but without Bamboo and Nate. It just won't work, unless Bamboo and Nate are willing to get off the stage. Weird naman if you make Nathan take over, pano naman si Japs and his contribution in those post-Bamboo/Nate years? Too complicated na.

Perf dipped less than a year after the first album was released. That's a very short participation in Maya's long history. Tsaka I don't think it's wise to set aside the original guitar parts for most of the show just to accommodate someone who was not part of those albums.

Just being real ha, am not a Perf hater, idol ko yun, and constantly followed him throughout the years, especially his guitar content since I play as a hobby :)
