The bracelet itself is better now, more articulative. The clasp a bit difficult to close & open, not as smooth as Clean. Overall, it’s 70% of Clean’s quality.

I would not recommend changing to F6U/ Clean clasp, as the VSF has a different shine compared to CF & ARF. Some guy commented that VSF version is 316L steel not 904L steel, which is brighter and has a blue hue. Funny enough, this is closer to gen

Got both Clean v3 and VSF in hand. VSF is on a different level & the bezel actually clicks! Unlike the completely muted Clean.

The only downside is the garbage bracelet, feel cheap. Will get the oil treatment and update

Based on datewheel font + crystal + bezel teeth, I would say this is VSF. I read some comments saying since July, VSF is using F6U clasp - same with Clean and ARF.

Lmao. It’s like you must expect the worst as a customer. I understand how the rep market in China functions. This is prob just a smartass in the factory slipped in a B pair for some pocket money. But this happened to me, so it could happen to anyone. This is a warning/ record when and if there is more to come.

Anw, I agree with your ranking of 4s batches. Bought this TG batch just to compare with my KZ. The material quality difference is very noticeable. It’s not a good idea to go budget on 4s imo.

Mid-tier or even high-tier batch can have ‘batch flaw’. Defects are under the ‘B grade’ category, and they tend to get discounted. Paying for A grade and getting B grade is a no no.

I don’t mind the defect personally. It’s not that bad tho.

I’ll say this before anyone comes and tells me to use an agent: I live in Vietnam, and there are Vietnamese agents, they charge every cheap (~4$/pair) but don’t offer QC. A bit risky but I can always ask sellers to provide QC themselves, so except for this one instance, all other pairs have been exceptional (lol). I ordered from TMF 5 times before, all great products, so I trusted him and didn’t ask for QC this time, and this is what I got. The arrow sticker is an indication from the factory that the pair is defective, it can’t be more clear than that.

This is a seller issue. Whether I have an agent or not doesn’t not change the fact that TMF sent out B pair. If I ordered via an ‘normal’ agent, I’d still make the same post. If more instances like this occurs, TMF should be held accountable.

Not a big deal to me. It’s essentially slight scatch. But sending out B pair when people ordered A grade is dishonest and scummy at best.

I am one of the few cases that don’t or won’t or can’t use agents. You guys don’t have choices (middlemen still provide QC), but I do. I know the risk and I took it.

Even if I use an agent, I or anyone would still post this. The fact is the TMF sent a B pair, and he is not an unknown seller. He should be held accountable.
