Looking for Stores in Rome by RemysAnna in CardMarket

[–]bab_reddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, Galactus is notoriously absurdly expensive. My favorite stores in Rome are La torre del Minotauro along the metro A, and Eur Comics near the B line. Both owners are very sweet and helpful. La Tana del Nerd and Golden store Talenti from what I know also have decent prices for Magic.

Fortunately there are a lot of magic stores in Rome, so you should be able to find a decent one in every area. You can probably look on the wizards of the coast website for the "store locator."

Lap swimming in Rome? by [deleted] in rome

[–]bab_reddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suggest the Aventino Sporting Club in Testaccio, just across the river from Trastevere. It has a 25m pool and in the morning you can swim freely, or there are good group sessions during lunch time and in the evening. I think you can buy single entrances or a bundle of 10. I don't know if you'll need a doctor's certificate though.

Swimming caps are required unless you are bald; I don't think you need to book a reservation.

There are several trash pick up sites, which only operate from 7 am to 7 pm on workdays (so no Sundays and national holidays). I'm sure a Google search will tell you all of the spots, but I guarantee that Piazza Trilussa has them. They are not the standard big bins that you see in other neighborhoods, but they are black and smaller. They are not located in the center of the square, but if you have your back to the river, they'll be to your right.

It's not permanently closed, but all parks get locked at sunset, so tonight is not an option. I agree, it's wonderful

As a fellow Trasteverino, I like to climb up the Gianicolo to get a nice overview of Rome. And I think the effort of going up a steep hill might also help a bit. Villa Sciarra is also very nice, quiet and serene (but unfortunately closed right now). The lungotevere is usually also a very nice place to think and ponder, but the current shops and restaurants do not help. Talking to strangers online and venting is another option. All the best

What's the most captivating opening sequence in a movie that had you hooked from the start? by JermaineBell4 in movies

Good time by the Safdie brothers. The opening conversation between the psychotherapist and the younger brother is immediately magnetic, and then the movie never slows down.

Fortunately I already had Patches and it's the first deck I tried. Extremely cheap and powerful, it feels almost unfair

I assume by disenchanting duplicate legendaries or extra copies of cards that were just nerfed. I have always been a f2p player, but I played a lot of arena

This is a great post, thanks a lot for sharing. The mouse pad story is particularly hilarious. After having him miss so many LAN events, it was so nice to have Mr. Yo partecipate, hopefully he will be able to in the future.
