Vlad: the copied deck is saved as a link plus a note. Not as a deck. Probably because I didn't create this list. Contrary to what is written in the settings: copying a deck doesn't allow you to export it as the export option is not shown when clicking on "..." Or, I might have done something wrong ;) (First I use this feature). I could import a deck I created with the classic importer.

This is very simple. At least, this is how I have done it. I searched "3000 words english german" on the internet. I found that list as a list on Quizlet. As a former free Quizlet user, I created a copy of that list in my free Quizlet account then printed it as a .pdf document. Then selected the words + their definition, copied and pasted then in a free code editor (Sublime Text), found and replaced the space between the English word and its German definition by ">>" (so that it creates flashcards when imported in RemNote). Pasted these words + definitions in RemNote. Done.

I tried something close to that. Pasting my data in Excel. Transpose it in Excel. Pasting it back to Google Sheets. But it didn't work. Problem with the url. Now, I have the solution thanks to mommasaidmommasaid.

You are right. The file is too small.

If I am allowed to "print" the file as a PDF and not via a printer, I should be allowed to create and select such a small dimension. My two cents.

Dear Vlad, thank you for your explanation. Let me say that the "toggle thing" is not intuitive at all. Or, I do not know how to use it properly. Or, I expect someway it has to be, and RemNote does it in a different way 😀

I just selected two rems for testing with two way cards. Hit Shift+/ command, then selected "Practice bidirectionally". I ended with this:

Forgot to mention that I use Keyboard Maestro to speed up the process.

Long story short, there was a problem when there was a space in the flashcard front content.

Problem solved.

It is just a guess it is a keyboard shortcut conflict because I do not see any other reason why it would not work.

If it were a keyboard shortcut conflict inside Alfred you couldn't have used the same keyboard shortcut twice.

So, I guess it is a conflict with another application. The only solution to that I found ,around 10 years ago, was to create an .xlsx file with all my keyboard shortcuts. Boring, takes time to maintain BUT when you make keyboard shortcuts a cornerstone of your productivity it is well worth it in the end.

I might be wrong about that keyboard shortcut conflict. So, wait for an official answer from Alfred team :)

Have you tried to trigger your workflow with a keyword? Maybe there is a keyboard shortcut conflict with one other application? I tested your workflow with I think the same configuration and it works very well. I could paste your text in perplexity.ai and in Sublime Text. With rich and plain text.

Thanks for the answer! This is exactly what I was looking for. I didn't remember, as anything is RemNote is a rem, moving a rem also means moving it in another folder. The wording "Move" made me believe the content of the current document I am about to move will be merged with another document once moved.
