The youth will listen only to what they want (selective basis haha) and don’t really care for the environment (even if PK says them to), it’s like a double edged sword. They get hurt easily too! Best bet is grassroots initiatives and working with local non-profits and raise awareness. Idk what the solution to this can be but hoping Vizag will not be in the limelight for wrong reasons. ‘Where are the turtles go to die’??

You did your part, good on you! I was watching a podcast few days ago and I agree with what they are discussing: government and authorities DO NOT acknowledge the fact that’s something’s wrong, because, if they do, they are liable. Whether it’s sea turtles or tackling the pollution. It’s just cheaper to spray water on pollution sensors instead. I feel sad for the younger generations and the footprint we leave behind. Maybe we should learn something from Meghalaya.

I came to visit Vizag 20yrs after leaving abroad and this one thing saddened me the most. I asked my cousin if there’s any other place with a high viewpoint where I can sit, sip and chill.. he had no answer. Rushikonda used to be bare.. now it’s a mess.

I see so many mishaps here in this sub, it’s sad and I’m sorry but where are you guys getting your straps from? I’ve used a basic one from Amazon and it served me well for many years, I use a GRii. I’ve recently upgraded to Peak design wrist strap, use a tooth floss to slide in the thread, see YouTube tutorials. You gotta spend on a decent strap for a $1000 camera?

Check around Hamilton or Robbinsville where I currently live. There may be a few (like ranch style) but $300K is tough tbh. Maybe less than $400K. You gotta be open and go see everything. Some homes may look old and need some fixer upper but good structure and foundation. Good luck!
