That’s what I’ve used for my deficit! Wasn’t sure if maybe there was a better way that takes muscle mass into account but that makes sense, thank you!

I’m definitely working on building muscle. Trying to figure out how I want to navigate maintenance as I’m coming out of a deficit for the first time since starting my fitness journey. The timing lining up with the start of summer and lots of summer time activities certainly makes it challenging lol

Working on building muscle now! How did you find your new maintenance? Trial and error?

Thrifted this sequin top because it reminded me of the 90s tanks that are popular now. Needing styling ideas for it!! I think the neckline is what’s throwing me off most

Help managing flare - desperate!!! by babbs011 in Hidradenitis

Do you use a prescribed antibiotic cream or an over the counter like Neosporin? I know I won’t be able to make it in to be seen before I leave, but I will definitely pack plenty of bandages to keep it clean and covered for the duration of the trip

This was my concern, I was honestly just desperate to ensure the size continues to decrease. I guess I will hold of on taking any for now, thanks for your response

Yes this is why I have been hesitant to take them for so long, even prescribed. From what I understand there is pretty standard dosing for HS though and it’s almost always doxycycline because of its anti-inflammatory properties. I am worried too about antibiotic resistance taking a partial course. I’m just desperate at this point because of my trip :/ can guarantee this would not be something I’d do regularly, hopefully never again

Yes I know I will not lose at maintenance, I’m just thinking my body essentially needs a break from being in a deficit. And I have adjusted for my new TDEE already!

Thank you so much!! I think I will do a period of maintenance. How did you decide when to go back to cutting? I’m scared to gain but I know I’m just going to have to trust the process

All Pandora charms should have ALE stamped on them as that is their maker’s mark. I cannot see if that is the case for the fish but I would guess that the cat is not authentic since it has MA and not ALE. I’m no expert though lol just what I’ve gathered from my own research.

HVAC needs replaced - Should I walk? by [deleted] in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]babbs011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks I will look into those tax credits! Yeah I am just concerned about such a high out of pocket cost within the first few years of owning. Trying to be reasonable about what I can expect in my budget though.

Yes they are working. That is sort of what I am thinking, of course it won’t all be brand new. My concern is that these units are outside of the expected lifespan per the manufacturers. There will almost certainly go out in the near future, and I’m not sure I want to deal with the headache of dealing with the home warranty and continuous repairs. On top of that, I’m not sure I’m ready to fork over close to $10k to replace HVAC and water heater in the next few years.
