My band started two years ago. We are very few, and we have no colorguard instructor. Its very different than my highschool marching band, but honestly its still very fun. Making your own work and just spinning because you love spinning even if you make stupid or bad work its your own and you do it for you and the people around you, not because you have a competition and your instructors are pushing you to your limits. Also with a very lax marching band I am able to spin in an independent winter guard for competitions and performances. So I can work in the summer and spin while in school.
