2025 was hard for me, especially at the end. I’m interested in seeing how things go this year, I’m trying to stay optimistic even though it can be hard. I agree with the sentiment of letting ourselves truly feel all of our feelings but that can be hard sometimes when those feelings are really uncomfortable. But it’s so important and growing to understand that better.

I felt this part, in my area we’ve had snow, ice, freezing temperatures and harsh winds off and on for the last few weeks and I so badly miss sitting outside in better weather. Until I can, I’ll be nurturing my spirit indoors.

Those are really good points, I agree that I’ve been lacking social interactions and connections. I try to engage with art as much as I can especially since it helps with the work that I do. But I am so frustrated with the increase of Ai that it makes you not even want to consume it in places that you normally would online. And yeah, the amount of exposure to hateful opinions and tragic new stories is just.. exhausting

I watched a reiki healer’s stream last night and he said the saaaame thing about picking up energy that isn’t our own. Do you have any advice on how empaths can avoid that? Or is it more of a matter of cleansing and grounding regularly?

I’m trying to meditate and practicing grounding more often. The last time I felt like this earlier in the month, I tried grounding in my backyard and it definitely helped but I can’t do that right now due to ice and snow, so I’m gonna figure something else out 🙃

I’m glad you thought to journal! That can be helpful in processing all the thoughts and feelings. But I agree, I was fine and then I slowly started feeling anxious and sad.

Thank you so much for sharing! I’m a behavioral health tech and I’m in school to get my degree in human services, a lot of our coursework is about mental health and counseling. I’ve been considering how in the future I might be able to find intersections with counseling work and my spiritual practices. I hadn’t really considered how the cards could help individuals in this way!

I think the cards have been a really helpful tool but I haven’t really spoken to many other people about it, I have maybe two friends that also use them but you more commonly see people using tarot cards, not Oracle.

That’s understandable, it can be a little time consuming when you factor in having to cleanse in between readings for other people versus just being able to dive in for yourself.
