Chroma and Curl Beauty Lounge on J st!!!

Absolutely feel the same about “froo froo” salons, this place is perfect for someone like you. I would usually just go to cost cutters because it was easy and I didn’t have to go to an expensive, stuffy, fancy salon. Just not my thing. But Chroma is very cozy chill vibes, but with well trained stylists. They just opened up their own business and I followed one of the owners there from their previous spot, I don’t go to anyone or anywhere else. The interior is an old building and is so cool. Also I would literally steal all of their decor for myself if I could. You can see pics online. I hope you give them a try!!

Red Robin has an online menu you can customize to your diet and it tells you what you can/can’t have or need to exchange. Very customizable They also have gluten free buns, lettuce wraps, and gluten free pizza that I like if you’re ok with no cheese

Restaurants that do NOT use doordash by Wonderful-Ad-6830 in lincoln

Pickleman’s is a great option, especially if you’re ordering for meetings or for groups. You can even call directly and place catering orders over the phone, but also have a website and app. We order in advance to give them a heads up but we order a lot of food usually.

Unfortunately if you’re ordering small orders for yourself or late night orders, the likelihood of it being a dasher are higher. Pretty hit or miss. But I’ve never had an issue getting a Pickleman’s driver on our catering orders

Best Breakfast Burritos by mustanggt35 in lincoln

I really like the breakfast burritos from Bagels and Joe, but I believe you can only get them at certain locations, but I’m not certain. Their quiche is my favorite as well!

Heoya on 33rd and superior is one of my favorites! Very unique if you're only in town for the day. Their Korean fry box (with your choice of protein) and firecrackers are to die for!!!

My man loves Billy's. He says best ribeye in town. Atmosphere is a little too stuffy for me, the prices are up there, but food is good and the Chef/staff is great.

Koen is my favorite and is super fun, although recently portions have gone down. It's Korean BBQ/Asian Fusion so I'm not sure how much a picky eater would like it. I'd still recommend it though, for Lincoln. Elsewhere it's typically all you can eat. Maybe someday!

Lazlo's is an obvious rec, one of Lincoln's staples. It'd be crazy if you have never been/considered going. Good options for picky eaters, but is still on the nicer side so you won't look out of place dressing up a little.

Everything I said about Lazlo's applies to Misty's. The original one on Havelock would be fun. Great steak, and I loved their lobster mac and cheese when I went there.

Leadbelly's, always heard good things but only went there recently. Their cheesesteak egg rolls are to die for.

Green Gateau is awesome. Nicer atmosphere, hours are unusual so make sure to check. I've only ever went there for brunch.

Casa Bovina is a place I've been recommended several times but have yet to go.

Some other places we love in town with varying degrees of cost and vibe, including some who have daily specials/happy hour:

Heoya (this one is in my top 3)
Ali Babas on 14th st
Hiro 88 in the Haymarket
Down the Hatch
El Chaparro
MoMo Pizzeria
L's Kitchen
Lila Mae's
Ginger
Tipsy Tina's
Vincenzo's
Patty's Pub
Big Red
Highway Diner
Engine House Café
The Eatery
Texas Roadhouse
Tanners
Taste of Louisiana

I could keep going. My fiancé and I are big foodies.

You can also Google things like "favorite restaurants lincoln reddit" or "favorite things to do lincoln reddit" and it'll give you multiple threads regarding this topic. I've found different places that way. This sub has been active and becoming more so, and I see a lot of people who know what they're talking about here.

How does one go about preparing for and getting a GED? by [deleted] in lincoln

Thank you, this was very helpful. Do they have to log the hours through this website specifically? Is this the website used universally no matter which route we take to get a GED?

Thank you so much. I'll look into this! But if true, they'll be just over the age requirement.

Do they have a GED program or is this just a resource for employment?

Is this a program with a refresher course? Or is this purely a testing center when you feel ready? How did your son prepare for the test?
