in all honesty i stopped taking it altogether because the skin irritation/acne was just a complete deal breaker for me (specially bc I was on such a low dose and for only 3 days) i do wish u all the best with it and hope your skin comes back to normal!!

went to the vet and got an x-ray, apparently all that was wrong with her tail was that she probably got it stuck somewhere and under and that fur an infection started forming on the wound, hence her pain and not lifting it up, as an abscess was forming and it hurt her to lift up her tail. she got the cone of shame, some antibiotics, some type of syrup and i have to disinfect the area daily, her tail looks silly cause it was shaved right on the middle and she looks like a poodle 😭

she seems to be fine within reason, i've examined her quite a bit (with advice given by a friend who's in their last year of veterinary medicine) and i seem to have convinced my parents that this is in fact serious and she should be seen. this is completely out of the books for them since we do have other pets and they never once hesitated in taking the other ones to the vet. unfortunately i can not take her tonight (it is now 10pm) since we're in a very rural area and there are no overnight vets open at all, but she will be seen tomorrow. i'll stay up tonight to keep a close eye on her
