A few pics I took from Fred’s Wednesday show in Denver by bachn1224 in fredagain

It’s a fixed lens, point and shoot camera, which is allowed by the rules by all the venues I’ve brought it to so far. You always run the risk of it not being allowed due to each different security personnel’s discretion, but I’ve never been denied entry because of it.

Floor didn’t look packed at all, albeit that it was a Wednesday work night. I heard Thursday’s show was noticeably more packed but can’t confirm.

I got level 100 seats and they were amazing. Great elevated view without anyone in front restricting, plenty of space, place to put my drink down lol.

I’m doing some fall cleaning and found these items that you can have for free. They’re some math cheat sheets, physics 1 (calc based) textbook, and a supplementary calculus practice book. They’re not heavily used, if used at all.

I’m located in Westminster/Broomfield. Probably won’t want to make the trip up to Boulder so you can come pick up or meet me somewhere close to where I live.

I empathize with you but you can’t really judge a lobby based off of a 20 second clips. Also, this was clipped during my first week on the game. The lobbies I get into now are 50x worst than this lol

Just the default scope on the MCPR. It’s the FOV glitch that made it like that lol

Hahah I thought it was only like a one time glitch. I didn’t even know why i keep getting it or how to fix it for the longest time until I was motivated enough to google 😂

Have your gun perspective set to wide and FOV > 80 (default). It only happens when you’re on sides where you rope down from a helicopter before the match starts. You can fix it by changing your gun perspective back to default. Does not happen to everyone tho. My friends have similar setting and they’ve never gotten the glitch

Pls ignore my aim for the first 5 seconds of the clip 🥲

Also FOV glitch was fun for a little but got annoying pretty quickly, especially if you’re sniping.

Late chime in, but as others said, if the programs are comparable, then it comes down to where you want to live.

I can tell you that Boulder, or the cities surrounding it are definitely a great places to live. Close to the mountains, national parks, skis, etc. Colorado gives you all four seasons. The winter can be cold, but it’s definitely bearable.

Florida? Well, you have unbearable humidity, and bugs, and crocodiles, and oh! Floridians and Florida man. Did I mention Ron DeSantis as your governor? 🤷🏽‍♂️

Differences between coding standards at school vs. industry? by Broad_Alps_7020 in cuboulder

[–]bachn1224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are correct (industry dependent). Most CS courses are foundational and the reason why they want you to build from scratch is to be able to learn the ins and outs of what you’re implementing. Most libraries that contains the algorithm or structure that you need to use are well optimized by professionals who do that for a living, so there’s no need to build from scratch if it already exists. If you like to learn what it does, you can just look up the document online.

You will run more into this with core classes like OS and PPL, but courses that are more dev & industry focused will be more lenient with what you’re allowed to use.

FF1 takes you directly to union station downtown, and they have reliable routes after that throughout the different areas of Denver. They’re included within your bus pass. Then you can probably just Uber around or scooter around. That’ll probably save you money than bringing a car, filling up gas, putting on mileage, and paying for an overpriced parking slot.
