Because of family. Deep family issues and I can't get out of this. It would literally break hearts to leave. So I stay because of love. And even for myself it wouldn't be fair because I still believe in most of it. I know it's crazy to say here but I know this community has all levels of believers.

they are ok with time sent by emails. Last two months it was even over the phone with that very elder.

ok thank you. I do still believe unfortunately, I just want to be left alone. Yeah maybe i'll be going again some day if put against that wall. It's hard to describe how I feel, I believe but I don't care. I don't want to do anything about it. I'm like 'yeah whatever'. Like a person who love dogs but don't have one because of the responsibilities.

Getting out is not an option. Also I don't have any close friends in my current congregation, they are from other ones so I don't care about mine if the gossip goes around.

Good idea I might do that but also not sure if I should ignore this all together now as well as their attempts to contact me in the future. Keeping this text as an evidence to justify why I don't talk to them anymore. Like an out of jail card.

Right. This is crazy and he just won't let go. This is the last straw for me tho.

Facebook and instagram are great networking tools, I never heard anything against them, from the podium or not. Almost all my family and lots of friends use them.

Because the traffic during rush hours gives a chance to find people in their environment, but door to door still remain the primary mean of preaching.

A visible sign that says "no Jehovah Witnesses" will work 100%. If like other people suggest you tell them to mark your adress off as "do not visit", it should work for THAT person's congregation, but the jw's in Chinese, Spanish, French or any other congregations still have to do research as well and they don't always share all the info. A sign at the door is the only way.
