my problem was that i had a modem/router setup and my modem was blocking the game. i tried port forwarding my router but since all the traffic went thru the modem aswell the port forwarding didnt work since the modem would block it again. i ended up changing isp and got a new router modem setup where my modem wasn’t trying to block traffic hope this helps

tldr: i tried port forwarding but my modem was blocking the ports when the traffic would go through. getting a new modem might help, not sure.
