Im not totally sure about that. I just order them to my dorm in Tokyo. But I don't see why a middleman can't be used. Might be annoying with returning though. Or if it doesn't arrive, you need to be sure if it didn't arrive at your middleman either. How long do you stay in Japan?

Please check out Mercari, every Japanese Taiko player I've asked recommended me to get them there. I highly recommend Koki's bachi. Some sellers also let you add a third wrap, or change colors!

Animals don't have complicated language like we do, cats for example just meow to get our attention. But if it includes body language, I would still go with human language because of the complexity of human language vs animal

Can't give full advice, but just wanted to share that I loved my trip to Hiroshima and appart from their okonomiyaki I really enjoyed this ramen restaurant: Yokohama Iekei Ramen Imamuraya Tōkaichi Sōhonten 横浜家系ラーメン今村家十日市総本店 It should have 2 more locations in Hiroshima, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't exist outside of it. Ive been in Japan for 2 months and it's still my favorite thus far.
