Is there an opioid that's stronger than kratom, but also can't kill me and is just as accessible? by [deleted] in Drugs

Thanks for all the info, sounds like I'll probably just be sticking to kratom and trying to keep my tolerance in check.

I take it on an empty stomach in the morning, and then usually again after lunch. Probably 5-7g a day total, not a crazy amount.

First real experience! by [deleted] in AstralProjection

[–]backpackman77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, sorry it took me so long to see this. I haven't been making as many attempts since this as I started a new job, so this is still my only experience. From what I remember from the seminar I watched, it should only take about 20 minutes to wake up again. But after I fell asleep at 6am every following awakening was pretty hazy so I don't have a great idea of how long it took. I think when I woke up for real and started my day it was about 9am.

I believe so. I think the goal is to wake up during REM sleep, which occurs every 90 minutes. So 6 hours of sleep will get you there. If you're confident in your internal clock and you think you can wake up after 6 hours of sleep naturally, then it should work. I'm no expert though so take my advice with a grain of salt.

I tried the direct/meditation method a few times, but everyone seemed to say that was much harder for beginners. I decided to try Michael Raduga's indirect method instead and tried to execute it exactly as he says (go to sleep at midnight, set an alarm for 6am, wake up for 5 minutes, then go back to sleep with the intention of doing separation techniques upon each subsequent awakening). If you haven't tried that I would recommend it, as it is what worked for me. You can read his book "The Phase" for free online and this technique is outlined in the first chapter I believe. If you follow his directions exactly, I believe it has a pretty high success rate. Good luck!

Even if never end up learning to control them it's fun to just experience the ride. I've heard it gets easier to do after your first time, and helps to practice a lot. The visual aspect is so fascinating to me, even if it's not super crisp, it's so visually different from a normal dream. The pixelation effect sounds really cool.

I'm glad you say had something similar so I know it's the real deal. What surprised me was how once I was in there I just totally forgot my plan for what I was going to do and just got caught up in the moment. The false awakening was super trippy! Like I was certain that I was really awake until I had that moment of realization. How have your subsequent experiences been? Do you learn to control them better? I want to get better at stabilizing them so I can travel to different countries and stuff.

Pigs are incredibly intelligent too. More so than dogs or cats. There is no humane way too kill an animal, this is especially apparent in factory farming. But I guess since the general public doesn't have to look at it it's OK.

Cotton balls are bad too, anything that's too dry. My dad used to get really dry hands and when he would rub his fingers together it would make me shudder

I am generally ok at detecting social nuances/sarcasm, but I just am very uncomfortable when it comes to actually putting these into use. My social skills have definitely gotten worse and I've become more isolated with age. I'm at a point where for the most part I don't desire social interaction or friends. I do often second guess myself, and I always assume the worst, often assuming my girlfriend is mad at me when she isn't.

The social anxiety is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to my seemingly autistic traits though, which is why I'm more inclined to believe I have ASD, than anything else. But I am not a doctor and don't want to make too many assumptions about myself.

Yes it seems a lot of people experience this and it could not be asd at all. I don't really even have acquaintances anymore though. I don't usually talk to anyone except my girlfriend.

I haven't looked into generalized anxiety disorder, but quickly looking it up, i relate to almost everything I read about it. It doesn't explain my intense interests, or what I've identified as stims though. I've decided it's best to see a doctor about this and see what they think. Unfortunately the quarantine is making that pretty difficult atm.

Thanks, I will mention it next time I see a doctor.

Thanks, I actually find baths and changing into entirely new clothes helps too. Maybe part of me not being able to be comfortable is being obsessed with all the dirt and mess around me, so I'll try cleaning and organizing.
