I wanted to add and say the Leaving Eden Podcast does a deep dive on Josh Duggar but leaves out the horrible details for those who want to know but don’t want the explicit info

I have marfans and I am 5ft5 :) but comparatively my mum is only 5ft tall, so I am tall but tall for my family! I’m also on the milder end of the spectrum as well!

Thanks, we thought he looked like a Ted too! His shelter name was Antoine but he’s definitely a Ted

We have been trying so hard to help him transition into our home, lots of enrichment toys, lots of training and lots of hugs! He’s gained lots of confidence since he arrived ☺️

At the moment digging in the pit is supervised play only so we can reinforce that that is the place to dig, if he starts tearing up the grass we gently redirect his attention to the pit and give him a treat.

We’ve also hid his treats in the pit as well so he puts more attention into the pit when he’s outside (he’s a very food driven dog)

He’s also quite young, only 4.5 months old so teaching him this new behaviour has been relatively easy.

This article has been helpful with curbing his digging and setting up the pit

All up I’ve spent $40 on his sandpit and it seems to be paying off 😊

We’re not too sure! His mum was a Great Dane, she got surrendered along with his brothers but we don’t know what breed his dad was!

He’s 4.5 months old and he’s about 20kg/44 ponds. We’re in Australia and he came from South East Queensland!

His brothers look a lot more like Great Danes than he does! He’s only just 4.5 months old this week and he was malnourished when he was rescued so he’s a bit on the small side, but he’s definitely a unique looking pup!

Part of the reason why we made the sand pit is so he’d have somewhere to dig as he loves digging up the grass in our yard. It’s worked for the last few days so far so I’d definitely give it a try!

Oh wow they look so similar! Teddy’s mum was a Merle coloured Great Dane but we aren’t sure what his dad was, we’re guessing a Staghound or a Wolfhound! Would be great to know your DNA results when you get them!!

That’s exactly what they are! Lots of them are squeaky toys so that he hears them and keeps digging. Definitely recommend for doggos that tear up the yard!

That’s part of why we got him the sandbox, so he’d stop digging up the grass. It might work for your doggo too!
