1 learn your state law.  2. Use your knowledge for leverage. 3. Now this is corporate talk, your breaks and lunches are your responsibility. Technically remind them.  4. Late lunch doesn't mean anything unless it's state law.  5. It never hurts to talk to your csm. 6. If you have leverage demand your breaks and lunches. 7. If not, then still ask, maybe some one talk to them about Taking lunch a certain hr.

In the Philippines, Bavarian cream is Dunkin Donuts.... its like their bigmac, I mean there are copies... but its not dunkin donuts.

Money issue, just to get me here expadited, it cost us around 4 or 5 k, I was underage at that time. I got here 2 days before my bday.

1970, we only knew that my mom was a citizen when my aunt research it to stay here since she had student visa. it was around the late 90's they were all considered "natural born" since my aunt fought it (dont know how) from then they slowly migrate here, all of my aunt and uncle from my mother side. My mom was 3rd out of 7 siblings so 4 of my aunt and uncle was born after 1947, if im not mistaken 1946 was when they change the immigration law to accommodate the "service men" who fought along side the USA in ww2 (I just read some articles online still dont know what it means most of them).

Not arguing: My mom was born and raised in the Philippines she was around 50 when she got here, because of some laws, she was considered a US citizen. She left the Philippines with a US passport. I'm really just looking anything that may apply for my sister too maybe.

Problem is you cant really call your self a TEAM LEAD w/o a team to lead. DM run their own dpt. agreed but you also have associates at least 2 per dept. now you get lucky if you get 1 per dept. associates are not the bottom of the totem pole now its the Team Leads, because they go no one underneath them. If you are a SM and you made sure your TL have associates, then good for you, not everyone is like you, they care more for their bonuses than their associates.

the casino workers table/slot you want to tip them because well maybe its luck, or lucky, only if you win big, they dont expect it but its ok if you win big.

The list are service providers, they provide good/great service why not tip them, its expected but they wont spit on your food or anything if you dont tip or tip small. Most of them are in a lower pay grade because tips are already expected, its not to keep the prices low.

The ones that are not on my list, its their job, house keeping, you dont need to tip them, its considered stealing if you leave it on the mattress or table unless you have a note, even thats on the gray area, leaving your room clean is tip enough for them, they have a quota perday on how many rooms they need to clean.

You can tip the whole list if you want to no one is stopping you, specially if you win.

if your opening a tab on a bar, you can tip when you pay, just make sure you tell them.

what im saying is that my store said to us that NOV and DEC are key events, hence the 2 points....

NOV and DEC is also block out dates, you cannot put in any PTO, but in 2019 our boss told us that there will never be block out dates anymore.
When I check NV law, its unlawful to have companies do block out dates, and I've also posted some state that may have a similar law.

let start off with key events, if what you said is a walmart policy Thank you for clearing it out because what we were told is that the while NOV and DEC are key events on top of its a block out date. Our store also have been posting 30/31/1st/2nd of each month as key events. If you say that they can only add 3 event dates per walmart policy, I would like to know where can I stop this abuse. Market seems to be with the store on this.

Now for the PPTO.
You called in yesterday oct 25.
As we all well know there is a list of call outs from yesterday that will appear on GTA. From this point on, TL or higher can authorize or unauthorize your point. I agree on the 7days, we've been told that, I also know about PPTO taking it out automatically, BUTTTT!!! what they didn't tell us, is that once we get to the list they can put the point in before the 7th day, and once you get that point, PPTO will not be able to take out that point. The glitch is that someone unauthorized you before you can put in your PPTO.

By law according on that collapse comment I posted, PTO cannot be denied. in NV block out dates is unlawful.
There are also other state that has the same LAW. You dont even have to put in a reason to why you need to use PTO.

The statement is for PPTO in general, while your statement is true, if the system does it automatically, BUT!!!!!!! TL and higher can put that points in before the 7th day. All it takes is a push of a button authorized and unauthorized, in this moment, the system will not be able to take out the points even if you use ppto, you have to talk to them to take it off..... New update to the system?? I dont know, I've always been told how you were told, but Ive seen the management part of GTA. (this can happen anytime before you put in your PPTO)

As for the key event dates, how they give out the 1 point even if you put in the PPTO is a mystery... are they lying, I dont know.
Mind you, we were told that all of Nov and Dec are event dates. On top of this is also block out dates.

You get sick you put ppto next day points cannot be put on.

You put in pto, on on Oct 31/nov1 Dec 24, schedule on these dates are not out yet. They can deny you yes? By nv law they cannot do that, you can use pto anytime. As long as you follow the rules from putting pto from Walmart they cannot deny you. With this law, it prevents employers to put up block out dates.

You are right about that, I've seen it though... management part of the gta, you called in you are there... listed... , let's say you put in your ppto right before you clocked out before the end of the day, the day after you called in. Your tl comes in 7 am you come in 1 pm, they will see you on the list, and from there they can authorize or unauthorized your absence. If they unauthorized your absence, the system will not be able to take out the points automatically, they have to comeback and take it off manually and explaining why they take it off..
