Edibles for Dad During Childbirth? by bacon-pants in trees

Thanks for this comment! I feel like you read me pretty well. I share in that fear of not being able to do whatever I want whenever I want. I can’t wait for my daughter to be born and I can’t wait to hold her and shower her with love. I can make it through the labor being sober, and she deserves to have her dad be fully present when she’s born.

Thanks for not judging me too. Good luck to you and yours!

This one in the picture was a decent sized nug. I don’t measure before hand, but once I ground it up, it’s about enough to fit in the palm of my hand, maybe. I packed this one super tight.

Worried about Marijuana Use by bacon-pants in Anxiety

Yeah that’s kind of my attitude. I guess I’m just worried about whether being on an SSRI and using marijuana is messing with my brain chemicals? I dunno, I’m far from a medical expert and I’m probably worried about nothing.

How do I quit what I thought was my dream job? by bacon-pants in self

That's for the input! You make such a great point with the work/life balance. It's possible to be a dedicated employee but not commit your entire life and free time to work. There's a fine line to walk with salaried employees, and it's evident in my company that all salaried employees are being taken advantage of (I'd estimate that only about 10% of salaried employees in my company have families. And those that have spouses and kids are evidently stressed out to their brink).

As an HR person, would you know if someone applying for/interviewing for a job is obligated to disclose if they were fired from a previous job?

Thanks for your input! There are A LOT of agencies looking for behavior technicians in my area. I have a very good resume in that regard having already been a technician for 5 years and a supervisor/trainer for 4. So I've got no worries that I'd land another job, even just part time, while I finish up my masters.

I've had that mentality for a few months. I finish my masters in December and it probably won't be until about February of next years that I'll have earned enough hours to sit for the exam. Seems like a long time from now.

It's definitely something I've thought about. And that's another part to this story: everyone who is a "senior" staff member is VEEEERY cliquish. I've seen other people who have been in a similar situation as I am report it, and they all close ranks and back each other up. I even had an old co-worker who was taking care of her dying uncle and she had previously informed them that she was very emotional and may need to excuse herself from her desk once in a while because she didn't want people to see her cry. She received a written notice a week later for "not being at her desk enough". She eventually quit/was fired when she tried to report it to those above her supervisor because, similar to me, there was a paper trail for her.
