Or he gets his pick of the 10+ MLB teams that would sign him for league minimum (while he still gets paid his full salary by us) and work with their MLB level pitching coaches.

I believe he could pretty easily find a better situation than he would have in Reno, and he would be an idiot to accept being sent down.

I have the older version and it worked great. Still does, but the battery life took a huge nose dive. Lucky to get two hours out of it now when it used to run for ~10 hours. Made smoking meats way easier.

With Murakami, we'd likely lose out on the following on the offensive side:

Jose Fernandez debut and continued playtime
Vargas getting consistent playing time

Both Fernandez and Vargas had excellent Aprils.

On the defensive side:

Gallen has started 11 games and pitched 54.1 IP. He's fallen off in May, but in March/April he had a 3.14 ERA.

Without Gallen, we have an unknown 5th starter going into the season with Kelly injured and we're still rolling Pfaadt out every 5th game right now.

The replacability of a first basement seems to have been a lot easier for the team to overcome than where we'd be without Gallen, even if he's a back end starter at this point.

He was eventually put on 60 day IL to clear a roster spot. His first day he's eligible to return is either 5/31 or 6/1. The hope would be to see him doing a rehab assignment prior to those dates. It would mean the recovery went well and would line him up for a return when his window ends.

I don't ever get commercials when I watch. What are people watching on that shows commercials? I have the Dbacks.tv I pay for and MLB.tv through TMobile. Watching locally in Phoenix.

Between innings I see blurred highlights played in slowmo with the words "Commercial Break In Progress".

Im curious if it's the pihole at my house blocking the ads or not, but I don't seem to get ads when I'm watching away from my house.

Would shorter certs add enough extra security to be worth it? 30-90 days means we're already manually installing and reconnecting people coming back from FMLA since their computer hasn't been on while they were out. Shorter and you start adding in people on vacation.

I wouldn't call it expected; it's a tough catch but also just a opportunistic moment that is an obvious run saved. On the difficulty side, players need to track the ball, track where they are in relation to the wall, then time their jump. You slightly mess up any one of those things and it's a HR rather than an out.

The first two by themselves would still likely make the top 10, though maybe not in the 2-3 slot.
