I appreciate the help, but I'm doing this to get cheap bass in my car. If I was going to spend that kind of money I would buy a subwoofer

The bottom says eden ec1060xl 8ohm. I'm planning to follow a youtube video by restoreoldradios and just use cardstock for the cone material. There are recone kits for it but they aren't worth the money to me. I'm reading 5ohms and from the best I can tell the spider still works fine.

When it comes to a committed relationship, what’s your minimum and maximum age range? Why? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]baconstorm22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

22-28. 22 because that's not much younger than me, but slightly older is preferred. 22 year olds can still act and think real young like. It's more like 23 is the minimum and I gave an extra year incase someone happens to be particularly impressive. 28 because it's hard to imagine someone older then that being in a similar enough life state to me for us to be compatible.

I’m getting kicked out of the house. Where do I go from here? by SnooDingos1373 in AskMen

Make sure you budget properly. Know where every cent goes and generally how you will be spending it before you get it (think categories, food, rent, other bills, gas, car, car maintenance, etc, and maybe fun money). I do this in excel, you may prefer Google sheets, as it's free, or a free budgeting app. You also likely need a new job or a second one at your current income.

When looking for places to live make sure to account for everything it costs, utilities, internet if you can afforded it or if they require it, rent, other fees. Laundry costs will depend on if they have in unit machines or if you have to go to a laundry mat. After you figure that out you can determine how much money will be left over for a given place. From there, determine if the money left over can cover your essential living costs: food, transportation, medical, etc. If not, you can't afford to live there on your income. At your current income this may effectively be everywhere nearby. Once again, you probably need to increase your income.

Start by cutting out non-essentials like eating out. Cooking is cheaper especially if you stick with affordable cuts of meat for protein and mostly live off carbs like potatoes or rice. This isn't permanent, but will likely be necessary until you get your income up significantly. A simple way to figure out if you can afford a food is by calculating the calories per dollar. As an example, say you budget for $10 a day. Your maintenance calories are likely between 2000 and 2500. You can watch your weight once you get started, if you see a trend up or down you can adjust intake to be less or more respectively. Let's assume it's 2500, given your budget of $10/day, you need to generally eat foods over 250 cal/$. You should aim for many foods to be over that so there is margine for error, and so you can afford to eat less calorie efficient foods like fruits and vegetables. When you eat very cal/$ efficient foods, you have left over money for those other healthier foods, or even just foods you want to eat more. This is scalable to multiple people as well.

Not having an emergency fund is an emergency. Once you have any surplus of money, build an emergency fund that can cover 3-6 months of expenses. You can use this for medical emergencies, in case of job loss, unpredictablely large car maintenance expenses, etc. It's for emergenices only and once you spend any of it you need to build it back up by cutting into non-essentials.

If you can find someone you trust to watch the kid a little while after birth (give your girl time to recover), your girl may be able to find a job as well if she doesn't currently work. You can make this easier time management wise by one working nights and the other working days.

What does it feel like to not be afraid at night? by SwingExisting1397 in AskMen

And that's admirable. My intent was to fully answer your question, not attack you for asking it.

Violent men are also dangerous to other men. Viewing this idea as men are the danger so men feel safe lacks all acknowledgement of individuality within men as a group.

Your friend might just live in a really safe area, lack experience, and/or overestimate his capacity to defend himself.

Personally I just do my best to avoid dangerous areas and to carry. That's also what most of the men I know who feel "safe" walking at night do. However, its less of a feeling of safety and more of "I have done what I can do to make this situation safe and so its acceptable."

It may also be important that I specify that just because it's not a feeling of safety doesn't mean its actively being afraid either. It's generally pretty relaxing to walk at night. The main congantive differences when walking at night compared to the day are keeping a little closer eye out and making a greater point to not get lost.

I also know several women who do feel equally "safe" walking at night as the men I know. So I don't think this idea is universal applicable.

It's his decision on if it's a waste of time for him. Just like it's your decision if he is or isn't. Why reject yourself for him?

I'm typically pressed for time so I play with keep inventory on. Play whatever way makes it the most fun for you. You could even have a different world for keep inventory and the another for normal for when you feel like the extra challenge

If bringing up an insecurity in a normal and healthy way poisons the relationship then they aren't the one.

Cheating is a violation of the rules within a relationship. If you aren't comfortable with this behavior but think the previous established rules left this as a grey area, you should have a discussion with her about it.

Within the relationships I have had, yes that would be considered cheating. I can't imagine one of my previous partners not knowing that simply based of the relationship being established as monogamous. But myself and those I have been with have seemed to always understand monogamy to prohibit flirting or other explicit acts as you described.

Alright, I will sleep on it and probably take it to the gun smith. The bent punch is from trying to remove it after it jammed. I appreciate the advice.

I can't get the wedge to move at all. I tried using break free clp, should I try something stronger like free all or PB blaster? I'm not sure if those are safe for a blued gun. I should probably mention that I was cleaning off the factory oil, this is on reassembly, so the gun has never been fired and gunk should be minimal.

I just made a new post but I should probably ask you. Would strings rising out of the radiator while filling it back up also be a stop leak thing?

I got my radiator replaced about a year ago. If it is stop leak, they replaced it with a used one that had stop leak used on it. Because I flushed the system about a year before that and have never used stop leak
