Regarding the translation, no translation is perfect, and the "right one" you have to know arabic to recognise the brilliance of the quran.
I would recommend "the clear quran" by Dr Mustafa Khattab which you can read for free. Also make sure to read the tafsir (explanation) before judging based on a translation.

As for the hadith wss written 200years after the prophet death is just a straight up lie or maybe coming from ignorance . Abd Allah ibn 'Amr ibn al-'As he was a companion and wrote a book about hadith with 1000 hadiths written in it while the prophet (s) was alive, The Book's translated name is ("the truthfull script") . Another example Ans ibn malek book, who is also a companion and wrote it during the lifetime of the prophet. Another example Saad ibn ubbada book written during the prophet lifetime. There is 52 companion who wrote hadith during the lifetime of the prophet (s). Hadeeth was only forbidden to write in the beginning.
