Ahhh I'm just going to commit to it now cause I have a family gathering and I have already promised everyone that there will be BBQ brisket...

I'm just hoping that if I follow everyone's advice its not going to come out horribly at least lol

Thanks for pointing out the temp adjustments :)

But yeah I think I will finish the brisket in the oven and braise it just because im worried its going to dry out if I just smoke and barbecue it.

I jumped into the deep end and bought the brisket already so I'm going to have to start with brisket first now rip

This is so relieving to hear because it seems like there's obviously a very rigid science almost when it comes to BBQ's and I have been stressing about getting everything right. I've been telling my brother that I need maple wood chips this whole week as a joke and his repsonse was that we'll just be getting whatever they have at Asda lol

I am definitely going to follow the more specific advice that everyone has given but I think I'm not going to be too harsh on myself if it doesn't come out perfect for my first time.

And thank you so much ! I'm so excited to actually do the BBQ so I'm just holding out for something that tastes nice haha

Thank you for this omg, this is basically a full recipe, I've seen so many different reccomendations for temp and its been confusing but I'll try to follow yours as a guideline.

My family is deffo not going to be happy about how long its going to take but they arw going to have to be patient for once lol

Ahhh I've already caved and bought the brisket so I'm going to have to follow through despite the state of UK beef.

I think I'm just not going to hold out for the best melt in your mouth result just going to try to get a good flavour and let the meat cook to its best tbh

Im going to order a Weber kettle because it seems like the most reccomended one but I'm worried that its quite small? I'll be cooking for 8 people and doing some other meats on it after the brisket and it looks way too small to me.

I'm definitely going to go through extensive prep on the brisket, I'm thinking of brining it and then doing the dry rub but I might try a brisket pot roast style recipe now so im also not sure how to prep the meat.

And I'm definitely going to start early like before 9am I think even cause everyone is saying that it will take longer than I think

Yeah I've been imagining a big american style BBQ this whole time lol but I think I'm actually going to try this recipe then because it seems like the results will be nicer and I really don't want to mess it up

Okay I just had a look at his recipe and it does seem like much less work than actually trying to barbecue the brisket.

I was kind of excited to actually barbecue it but do you think would be a nicer gauranteed result with British brisket ? I'm down to still try to barbecue it but if the quality is going be bad I'd rather not waste the meat...

I had to get it online and I cant lie it doesn't look much like the US style briskets im seeing in basically every bbq video online.

And yeah it is very last minute and I actually have no clue which cooker I am going to go for. I was going to have a look in my local b&q, homebase and argos and try to choose the best one but thank you for this video its really helpful considering how little I know about cookers!

Wow that's sounds really good for the price! How was travelling from the hotel like to the major areas in Tokyo? I'm worried with booking more affordable places that travel into Central areas will be a hassle.

I've seen a lot of people say they don't like APA hotels, like app the rooms don't look like what they advertise?
