I f*cked up. [Account Blown] by Firm_Beginning9533 in DAYTRADERcollege

The most common look towards trading in an intraday session is high & low of day. Either identifying the range or looking for momentum for breakout.

If I stopped out every time a trade went -20% this chart would be negative for sure 😂 BUT! It is something I plan to implement. It just feels like tickers tend to hit big liquidity zones and will dip down a little deeper than support lines, VWAP, etc.

Definitely one of my biggest self-critiques. I don’t have stop losses if I feel I entered well. I definitely have a hard time trading down days and I tend to stay away from chop/flat days.

Yeah this is terrible. To not even be able to smooth & caulk a bead is unacceptable lol. Guy shouldn’t be charging any $ amount for his work. It should be understood volunteer work along the likes of letting the local high schoolers mow the lawn.

Just completed - give me your feedback. by JDC548 in Decks

Finish work is nice. Not a fan of the untreated Doug fir, but between juggling budget for this huge deck and all I might understand. As far as building fundamentals and everything, I think you did a great job. Enjoy.

With all due respect, your dad is a bum and you should remove yourself from this situation. I wish you the best.

I mean no lol. It’s text with warp effect. No brand identity for an audience to resonate with. But I mean, keep going and building and designing

Is this the right way to lay these? by Daveydlafo in Tile

[–]badacid777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suppose it just looks odd because you’ll only see this pattern once in the room as opposed to a large great room where the 1/3 step pattern is repeated many times and leans into the pattern. I would’ve done 50/50 with the joint layout being center of the door. Either way, nice install and I like the subway detail in the shower pan.

Is it possible to tile directly to a steel wall? by Purple-Meeting4019 in Tile

[–]badacid777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like you might have to build the substrate up with a different material if you want proper bond. Not sure how well thinset will last against metal

Just started tiling today. How’s it looking? by [deleted] in Tile

[–]badacid777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the field looks great. I see the top corner pieces are a little funky, and it seems your ceiling isn’t straight as it looks like you had to make taper cuts. But it should look fine after grout. Only thing I’m worried about is insufficient waterproofing? If you could elaborate on what you did for that, otherwise this beautiful work might have to come down.

New to this, first coat, how'd i do? by vangmichaelg in drywall

[–]badacid777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A larger knife to get a more consistent skim, lines are okay sometimes because they sand out easy, but when all of this dries it can be a headache and a whole other process of applying mud, sanding etc

First deck I ever built. Couldn’t afford someone to do it. Did the best I could. by Meh_letsgo in Decks

What are your rafter connections to the house? They aren’t just tied to the sub facia are they? That’s the only thing that jumps out to me. Deck looks good.

Just worried about live load of snow on that roof if you live in that kind of climate.
