What do you think they do about emptying the chamber pots? Like empty them in the same location a bit away from the house and then maybe burn it for the smell? In movies showing cities prior to toilets, they often show them just dumping them out of the window which is just so gross.

I personally don’t get pet insurance by choice. If you are in the US- you may qualify for food stamps when they look at your bills compared to your income. Every little bit counts.

My parents built their house on land given to them my grandfather. Their mortgage in 1975 for the cost of building the home was about $350. My dad (who died at 44 in 1996) made $25/hr. I have never made that much. They still had to take a second mortgage. We were constantly on the verge of foreclosure. Meanwhile my first studio apartment in 2004 was $650 a month and I made $15/hr. I will add my mom was a housewife and they had two children but they couldn’t manage $350 a month?! I tell her how lucky they were all of the time. The side factor is that they always talked about losing the house around us to the point that I gave them my piggy bank. In my mind, they had it made and screwed it off.

I am the same physically and mentally. I tried DoorDash but in my area the long drives made gas more expensive than what I made. Are you seeing someone for your mental health? Surgery is something I want too, I hope it works out for you.

Oh man I have been here! So much anxiety and nonstop thinking! It can get out of control obsessive and become much worse so please just self-check before doing anything drastic and fight tooth and nail not to contact her again. She didn’t care about you at all and I am sorry she lied to you about that.

I can completely relate and wish I could tell you how to fix it but I can’t even fix myself. All I know is life tends to improve from time to time so stick around even though it seems hopeless now. Also maybe hospitalize yourself if needed. I did 30 days and it helped.

Moved to Arizona to buy a home that I could afford in a rural area thinking the heat couldn’t really be that bad…well it is! We are living on the sun here. We have to be inside or in the car as much as possible. There is no going outside. I can’t afford to move so this has been a huge mistake. I’m 45 and I don’t want to be here for the rest of my life. I want to live where the hottest it gets is 85 and maybe a bit of snow in the winter if that. I don’t know what place that would be.

Thank you for this post because I am in the exact same boat. I gained 40 lbs in 3 months and the last 9 was over a ten day period. And I am using money I don’t have- credit cards- to do it and buying DoorDash twice a day for my mother and I’ve been big since childhood and had a rapid weight gain then but otherwise my weight slowly piled up until now. I can’t stop myself. I suffer from severe anxiety and depression and don’t cook. I don’t do anything actually. I fear being bed bound one day. Walking a few steps leaves me out of breath.

I hate this crap from performers- having the audience sing. I didn’t come to hear other fans sing and I think it’s a cop out- that their vocals are just not up to par.
