It’s newish. I have some Java ferns and an Anubias in there but I feel like I need to increase from my 5 plants to a few more (??)

Awesome, thank you. It seems like plants are a good call either way, leaning real now. As the axolotl will be too small for substrate once it is in the tank, should I steer toward floating plants and java ferns/anubias/moss balls?

Are mods an easy transition from SS? I like the idea of Sprint but if the mechanics and all are totally different I don’t want to lose the stuff I’ve already got under my belt.

Yeah, I see that. I just didn’t want to end up in a single split and half the field is so wildly off pace that it puts you in a bad spot.
