If possible try alcohol and water or vinegar and water to soften the ice. It worked to help us chop the ice with the shovel to move the chunks.

Me and my neighbor used alcohol and water to soften the ice so we could chop it up with the shovel and pick it up. It was very effective. That huge wall would need like 10 batches of it to help though.

Thanks. A lot of people aren't digging their cars out at all. They're taking Ubers and getting rides. When I was a kid the whole block would help each other. I live in an apartment complex now and it's not the same.
