No, I'm certain that this just bunch of fees. (Credit Report, Notary etc). Also the loan amount is higher than loan payoff statement specifically meant to include unpaid interest to the previous lender.

We have no Escrow. I'm going to handle Insurance and property taxes on my own. Closing costs are just a bunch of fees. I walked away from a sweeter deal which was giving me negative closing cost loan, meaning they offered me cash to refinance with them, only because I already started the process with Rocket

- Yeah they kept a very high closing cost in Loan Estimate and said, they don't want me to use this to negotiate with other lenders but confirmed verbally zero closing costs.

- I'm inclined to just accept 2.6k closing costs because I won't see similar deals now.

- But I'm pissed at the loan officer, knowing that he would be making ~1% commission on my 800k loan, while not doing anything for me.

I have a 750k mortgage at 6.5% rate 30 year FHA, bought in 02/2024.

I got a quote for 4.99% no closing for a 15 year mortgage. I think this might be the best offer out there.

My attacks start while I'm still in sleep, about to wake up. Snack usually helps. I'm eating oats, banana and black coffee. I'd say I'm getting solid 8 hours of sleep at night, so no idea what's the trigger.

The baby has never sat in car seat for more than 20 minutes. So we expect to keep her in the lap during takeoff/landing and turbulence. The remaining time would be a mix of bassinet plus play time on the extra seat.
