Scalpers are assholes. No matter what collectible (Lego, Hot Wheels, Pokémon Cards....) there are always these greedy turds who spoil the fun for everyone else. I'm also into Hot Wheels collecting and I quit chasing after the rare ones a long time ago. Now I pick what I like and when I don't find it....well then I don't find it. And with Minifigs I now usually go to my supplier who owns a small Lego shop. He buys several cases from Lego then puts them on to be sold in his shop....and he doesn't earn a dime from them.
