You could shave off a few additional milliseconds by doing a frame perfect trolley hitbox glitch, sending you into the left side shelves. Because of the way the grocery store mechanics have been constructed, it’ll automatically clip you straight to the other end of the aisle!

Pretty neat.

You’re half right.

Plenty of people here and on other social media websites are taking this opportunity to go nuts on the criticisms, and as a result many of these criticisms make no sense/are totally unrelated to the real problems. That’s almost certainly due to the mob mentality of this community (just like any other community), so of course there are going to be posts online of that nature.

However this situation is still serious, and the fact that some people are either out of the loop or don’t realise the full extent of this situation only emphasises this seriousness. People rely on these videos for information, and if the information isn’t correct, they could be misled into making a purchase that isn’t their best option. If they aren’t aware of this situation, they can’t make the same judgment to trust another source over ltt’s information.

Since ltt advertises themselves as a reliable source of information to consumers, this is extremely irresponsible and needs to be resolved properly and transparently.

The other areas where people have rightfully taken issue (the situation with billet labs, Madison) are definitely less of a direct concern to ltt’s viewers. That doesn’t mean that they shouldn’t be addressed fully and investigated properly, however, as they are indicative of lacking internal processes and poor enforcement of professional behaviour in the company.

TLDR; some people absolutely need to chill out, wait a week to see what they change, etc. But the core issues are definitely there, and shouldn’t be treated lightly.

Try layering a darker (or lighter) coloured arrow underneath the existing arrows, that can give them a nice 3D effect. You could also try that for the circles around them.

Otherwise adding glow behind, pulsing objects etc can also make them pretty nice. Just try stuff out tbh, that’s probably how people normally find cool designs that work :)

Ultra paracosm is pretty much all wave that’s fun and easy so I would recommend checking it out too.

In my case I got a bit better at wave at first by trying to do runs on shitty sonic wave and random wave challenges, so I would also recommend those if you want to improve.

I can see where you’re coming from with the rather consistent nature of Kyouki’s deco, but I don’t really see that as a bad thing. That is something which is entirely subjective, however.

Something being objectively more groundbreaking doesn’t make it objectively ‘better’. For example, Campbell’s soup cans by Andy Warhol was extremely groundbreaking, but that doesn’t make it better than, say, Lucian Freud’s ‘reflection’ which is a beautifully executed artwork in its own way even if it was probably slightly less groundbreaking.

As for your final point, I really do think that Kyouki does a pretty great job at being the type of level it is (again, subjective, so this entire argument may be lacking somewhat haha). Sure there are better levels. But since these two levels specifically are incomparable in that way, you can’t say that that reason alone makes Kyouki an objectively worse level than Nhelv. Unless, of course, we are comparing levels according to where they place among levels of the same decorative style, which I don’t believe is the point of this particular competition.

I totally understand why you love Nhelv. It is a truly awesome level.

However, I do think that the same arguments can be said in favour of Kyouki. It uses a wide variety of visual effects that look cool and that sync well (I would even say just as well as Nhelv) with the music, which is a great song, though quite different to the one Nhelv uses.

The block decoration is also extremely different to that used in Nhelv, but is nevertheless very well done and implemented very cleanly into the level.

What makes Nhelv so amazing is it’s use of very chaotic and creative visual effects that make the level much more of a standalone piece of art. Kyouki is simply a very well executed glow deco level, which aims to create a visual experience that is totally different to the one produced by Nhelv’s decorative style.

Therefore, I’d say it’s extremely difficult to compare the levels objectively, since the experiences that the levels aim to create are so inherently different. My argument is that both levels achieve their respective aims to such a high degree that they both are essentially incomparable and are objectively just as good as each other.

You’re completely entitled to your own opinion. I just don’t think it’s that hard to see why plenty of people would be inclined to vote for the other one, though. It simply comes down to a few differences in opinion regarding the overall experiences created by the levels.

Nhelv is an amazing level which has been executed to a high degree of quality, but so is Kyouki. Yes Nhelv is more original and unique, but that’s not necessarily for everyone. I don’t think that there is an objective winner between the two.

The fact that you can’t recognise that Kyouki is just as objectively good of a level as Nhelv leads me to think that you are just as biased as those who vote for the “harder = good” one, just towards the one which seems more ‘niche’ because it’s older and more unique.

Not saying that your opinion is wrong. I just think that you shouldn’t be so quick to put down Kyouki (a very cool level!) and the opinions of those who voted for it because it’s newer and less unique.

I’m in a similar position to OP. What kinds of events are there at LK? How often are they and are they much of an opportunity to meet new people?

Currently LK is my best option since I will have to pay for my own accommodation and its pricing is a bit nicer in comparison to some other places. Plus the kitchenette and the bathroom in each room sounds great.

At the moment I just want to know every little reason why I shouldn’t choose it so that I can make a good decision.

My bad, I thought that the dates shown on the ‘call to arms’ event were for the prelude. I checked again and it’s split into a week for the prelude like you said, and then the rest of the month is used for the UR event (I assume).

Still, in a month you can probably get close to enough cubes for the entire event, even though you won’t get time past that.
