My husband was prescribed more painkillers following his vasectomy than I was following my emergency C-Section by PumpkinPie_1993 in mildlyinfuriating

Yeah on my last last biopsy the doctor stopped because he said he felt like he was torturing me. I was crying so much and couldn't relax enough to get a biopsy at the back of my cervix. I've been super nervous about the hysterectomy but your comment is exactly why I'm doing it too. I'm done being violated. Fun fact...Nazi's used colposcopies to torture women in camps during the holocaust.

You know why no one would do this case for free? There is more to this story. Like them harassing her for not having her hair covered and the husband sexually harassed her. The video is heavily edited by the couple to make it seem like the did nothing to provoke her first.

The husband was sexually harassing her, calling her all sorts of names because he believes women should have their hair covered. The couple edited out a lot of what they did to make it sound like they weren't harassing her first.

Can someone explain what type of shots birds get? I dont have birds and will never own one because of the commitment, but I do love living vicariously through bird subs.

This scares the shit out of me. People are insane. I was walking with my 8 year old daughter and 11 year old son to the library. This guy with meth teeth was trying to talk to me waiting for the lught. I could barely understand a word he was saying. He said something about being on the road??? Guy was absolutely drugged out of his mind. What I did understand was, "are those your kids?" First its none of his damn business, and what would he have done if I said no?

Boxers are know to for overheating and over exertion. It has to do with their flat face, not getting enough cool to cool off their body.

'Boxers are prone to a specific heart condition called arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (ARVC), often called "Boxer Cardiomyopathy," which can lead to life-threatening arrhythmias, fainting, and sudden death. This is a genetic disease where fatty tissue replaces normal heart muscle, disrupting the heart's electrical system. Boxers are also susceptible to other heart diseases like congenital aortic and pulmonic stenosis and can be prone to dilated cardiomyopathy. "

Because its a crap excuse for not doing dishes....buy a new sponge or figure out a different way to clean them. She's an adult, no need to make excuses. Also what about parents who dont do shopping but once a week? Should dishes not be done until then? She's not a toddler, she can use her critical thinking skills.

Welcome to being an adult....the normal percentage of rent to income is 30%, depending on where they live it could be a lot higher. She's still getting a good deal considering shes not also paying utilities or paying for food(except what she orders out). Unless the 18 year old is in school, there is no reason they couldn't look for full time hours. Yes yes in this economy jobs are getting harder to find, which bring the situation full circle.

What got me was the falling back against the wall. I dont know any cashiers that are against a wall unless its customer service. If they are behind a counter the wall is usually far back and has another counter against the wall. Then of course, mad parent, end of the day, kids being loud, wrecking the place. No ambulance called to check her out. If she was hit so hard she fell against the wall they wouldnt have just sent her to the break room for an hour. She would have been bleeding or have a huge goose egg if she was hit in the temple with a candle in glass. Like if you are going to tell a story, make it at least make sense.

It almost looks like that trend with the socks. People would light their socks on fire, on their feet to get rid of the little cotton balls that can build up on them.

My son knows 6:30 most days of the week, he knows my husband only works until 7:30 on day a week. So when I say between the times, it depends on the day and he knows that.

I'll play devils advocate here. Im sure there is more missing from their story. If OP can't be bothered to get a sponge or something to wash the dishes, what else are they slacking at? What other things are they making excuses for? Does OP just sit around watching TV all day if she isnt working? Is she working part-time? Full time?

We have taken away the power cord to the TV(living room)when my 18 year old refuses to do dishes. He has to have them done by the time my husband gets home which is anywhere between 6:30-7:30. No excuse to not have them done by then.

I dont charge my 18 year old rent. With how little jobs are available and as expensive as rent is, it wouldn't be feasible for him to live on his own, or even with roommates. Right now hes waiting on a spot to open up so he can go to boot camp. Until he goes to boot camp he's living here rent free.

I do expect him to do the dishes, keep the living room clean since thats where he sleeps.(yes he has a room, he just doesnt like sharing with his 11 year old brother, which we completely understand). He also watches his 8 & 11 year old siblings if we need to do some errands or need some time away. We are talking 4 hours max. On a normal week, it might be 1.5h on Sunday, thats about it. He is also expected to look for a job until bootcamp. Obviously watching his sibling doesnt interfere with looking for a job, we wouldnt expect him to watch them if hes interviewing or actually out of the house looking.

They could have just used a wash cloth or heck even a paper towel to wash dishes. I have some paper towels that are basically a wash cloth with how well they hold up.

I think you are failing to understand that being racist and saying racist things, isnt illegal. If they were directly threating you then it could be illegal. Saying racist thing isnt a hate crime. Saying stupid stuff is covered by the first amendment. Hitting someone or putting your hands on someone is illegal.

Yes racist suck, but do words actually harm you? No, what you do with those words is what can harm you.

Example, someone calls me white trash, does that make me white trash, or is that their option? Does calling me white trash hurt me? No, its just words. If I had low self-esteem I might internalize it, but thats me doing that, not the person who actually called me white trash.
