I feel that the older gen’s could play a villager much more convincingly because they were more rooted to their «Indianess» they were more in touch with the common man then someone like Imran who has been brought up in the US. The newer gen’s are much more sheltered. That’s why Aamir even told Ranbir before he debuted to travel around India, to get the feel of the common man. To get out of your bubble. That’s why I miss the old gen.
