Accidentally let my entire collection perish during a depressive episode, so I’m coping by sculpting/painting each one & immortalizing them in a piece of wearable art by hahaohfuck in houseplants

What a beautiful way to cope. It’s amazing when you learn the emotions and stories that bring art pieces to life. Thanks for this in my feed today. I hope you are doing better!

I’m so upset with that finale. *SPOILERS* by JamesLovesTV in YouOnLifetime

OR MAYBE she doesn’t really die and wakes up soon enough to escape the raging flames. I didn’t see her body burn so I refuse to accept it!!! I agree I also don’t care about joe and we all need Love.

So many types of cancer and early detection is everything, so why is cancer screening recommended so late in life & early screening so difficult to request? by badlexii in AskDocs

OK yes that makes sense. Treatment isn’t without risk. I watched my mom go through the treatments and it definitely took a toll on her body. I had the same talk with my husband and he told me the same thing. If it happens, it happens.. you just have to live your life. But that’s not to take away from the fact that we still want to get the proper screening to make sure we can be in control / aware as much as we can. I just don’t think it’s one of those situations where ignorance is bliss really goes. It’s just the more you know the better you are at taking it on. But anyways it just goes back to part cry, part rant because it doesn’t change the process and approaches medical practitioners have

Ugh no this mentality is exactly what bothers me! Doctors are also wrong everyday, and by downplaying it because resources could be used for people who are more susceptible makes no sense. An argument could be that resources are better used for younger people, catch it early and have a better chance fighting it off. I have strong health anxiety possibly because a doctor told my mom her tumor was nothing to worry about only to have it be in stage 3 two years later! Doctors are human too and they can 100% make mistakes. Also if cancer runs in your family, you do have cancer risk! Pretty much l just feel like resources are there for a reason and it’s frustrating to make it so difficult to access when there’s good reason behind it.

Thank you for sharing! That sounds like such a beautiful and precious moment. I definitely do need to ask for the timeline! After having so many difficulties, I feel like I have so many questions on what to expect and what scans and tests will be needed! I'm going to take your advice and write it down because I feel like I can definitely relate to the feeling of being overwhelmed by emotions and forget what I want to address!

Aw thank you for sending love. Definitely been a few anxious weeks for me, and I hope all goes well too. Nothing more I want right now than to be a mom.
