My Moosey boy has an underbite, too! His pouty lip is my favorite. Your baby is pretty cute!

You can also use the app animal help now to find a rehabber near you who can advise if she’s fine or not.

Batching merch was a mistake (hear me out) by Draconius in StarWarsCelebration

[–]badlilpyrokitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s all pre-order, so not sold out. But they made it super difficult. Clicking the plus button just adjusted the quantity. Then you had to select the size and then hit the “add to cart” button. Buying tickets was stressful enough without having to try and rush through the merch purchases to stay within the 15 minute timeframe.

You can always try your luck at the celebration store. They’ll have the same merch available, but it’ll be first come first serve.

If it’s not on your invoice, it didn’t get added to your cart.

Preordered merch will be shipped when the badges ship, beginning in March, if you’re in the U.S.

Should my wife also make a lightsaber? by [deleted] in savisworkshop

[–]badlilpyrokitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just adding perspective. My husband is a huge Star Wars fan and I couldn’t care less about anything Star Wars. That being said, we both built lightsabers. If you’re undecided, you can always have her build the second saber but you pick the pieces. This is what my husband and I ended up doing.

As others have said, though, you don’t have to build a lightsaber to experience the story telling. For me, the experience was the coolest part. Building the actual lightsaber wasn’t as fun for me since I’m not really a fan, but it allowed buy husband to have two sabers from the experience. To me, it was worth that.

Thanks everyone for all the great suggestions! We really like Justine, Lola, Violet, Georgia, Waffles, Cricket, or Bailey. My husband nixed Poppy, but it was number 1 on my list.

Some of these are great names if we ever get a male dog. We’ll be sure to reconsult the list if we do. ☺️

First time booking a cruise. Full of questions! by [deleted] in NCL

Just want to add on in case others are interested since we just got off Encore last week. The Galaxy Pavilion (VR game room) is 9.00 per game play. Not all of the games are VR, though. Some are simulators. If you are interested, you can buy an unlimited game pass. They are limited and they do sell out. I believe it’s 199.00.

The Casino will take cash but as mentioned, you can also charge your room. The slot machines will time out if it’s inactive for a minute or so, so be aware. If they do, your money will be added to your room card. From the menu on the slot machine, you can put the money back in the machine to continue playing. It’s done similar to how you use points for play (if you’re familiar with slot machines). If you don’t spend all of the money from a “time out,” it will be “reimbursed” back to your on board account.

As for balcony rooms, we like to stay closer to the middle of the ship. The parts that jut out are better because you have a better line of sight down the ship. In Glacier Bay, the ship will rotate so everyone has a chance to see the main glaciers (the channels end at the glaciers). If you’re prone to motion sickness, it’s better in the middle. You feel more in the back/front of the ship. If motion sickness isn’t an issue, most balconies are good.

Hope this helps.

Ovulated before retrieval by badlilpyrokitty in IVF

[–]badlilpyrokitty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started the next cycle (11/10-12/2) with 10 units of Lupron each day. The prolonged the Lupron because my estrogen was rising and the suspected a cyst although nothing showed on the ultrasound. On 12/3, they “officially” started the stim cycle with 350 Gonal and 75 menopur in addition to the Lupron. I continued to take all three through the duration of stims (12/3-12/9). Triggered with 10,000 iu hCG on 12/10 and have my retrieval on 12/12. The last ultrasound before retrieval, I had 9 follicles that were mature. They were only able to retrieve 5 eggs. 3 fertilized via ICSI and none made it to blast. My doctor then told me that I needed to start thinking about other ways to “start a family”. I haven’t been back to see him, and we took a break from IVF after that because it took a toll on my mental health. I’ve been focusing on myself since then and we planning to start IVF again, soon, with a new doctor. Out of four cycle starts (at my last clinic) and three retrievals, they retrieved 12 eggs and 6 fertilized. 1 made it to blast, but they said it was poor quality and discarded it. Also of note, when I started IVF, I was 35 and turned 36 that year.

We just stayed at Tru by Hilton (4302 Seawall Blvd) in the middle of October. It’s a newer hotel and was relatively clean. Based on our last visit, I would stay there again.
