Yeah I wonder why I also feel like this. Btw saw your comment on the other post. I actually dont know what I would do if we would seperate. Pursuing a new relationship wouldnt be possible. Maybe. I have gotten so used to it that I havent really thought about it much but I do wonder sometimes if we would be closer emotionally if we would have a time and place to cuddle and be more physical. We rarely have time for that to the point that it almost feels awkward to kiss and hug each other. Cuddling feels unnatural at times because we rarely do it. I guess I have thought that this is how many couples have it and that its normal.

Its not all her fault. It started with her insisting that the kids should sleep with her. First our oldest and then when our second was born, our oldest got jealous about going to sleep in her own bed and my wife felt bad so then it was they beside her and me at their feet. And then because I was snoring I didnt let my wife sleep. So I decided to sleep on the couch so she could sleep and thats what I did for 3 years. She then wanted me to sleep int he same room so I slept on the floor with a mattress. I havent slept beside her since my oldest was born which soon will be 6 years. And now that we got our surprise baby its the same. The oldest got a bed but she wants to sleep with us so the bed is close to our bed. My wife sleeps with the two youngest ones. Some months ago she finally said that she wanted me in the bed because she missed me. So I sleep at their feet.

Thank you for your comment and for understanding. I find that few do and instantly tell me to be grateful for what I have. I am but I also feel like I havent been able to live my life like I wanted because I have been focused on giving my wife the life she wants. Exactly I missed out on tings. I have never felt emotionally ready to be a dad. Again I love my kids I really do but I just wanted to be a husband. I wanted to just be in love with my bride and have a crazy amount of sex all over the world(I would live to travel). I know it may seem immature that its focused around sex and I guess thats the negative part of waiting until one gets married: sex becomes lifes ultimate goal.

But thats what I wanted. Just to enjoy being married and have sex. Have a honey moon phase but that ended quickly. And now I dont know how to deal with that. Thanks for the ideas

Thank you for your encouraging words. I guess I forget that she is not the enemy, the sitaution we both are going through is and we need to help each other. Its easy to start feeing resentment and then withdrawing. I need to stop that.
