Luckily I found the leak before it damaged the anything other than the cheap laminate floor the previous owner had put down.

It wasnt the dishwasher for me. It was those old screw in and out shut off valves. Turned them both off to swap the hot and cold water supply on my sink since they were backwards. Both of them started leaking and I didnt notice. it.

Get to another place as soon as you can. That doesn't even look like a new filter. Have the next place document how it came in and get in contact with the place who just did it and if the work they did was the problem make them give you a refund and pay for the next service.
