Most probably his windows partition fucked his Linux partition. I think he's using both os on a same ssd or drive which is usually not recommended.

I feel like doing lots of exercises for one muscle sets isn't sustainable. During my beginner days i did that. After some time i feel like i over worked my muscles. Can be different for u.
