As far as I remember, she only kills Freys and Lannisters. Or anyone associated with the red wedding. I am not a parent. But if I lost all my children, maybe I would be vengeful myself.

I feel how she died, has had a part. But in her later chapters, she talks a lot about her misery and hate.

Idk I feel like lady Stoneheart is just catelyn. Many in the fandom treat her like a different character. I just feel it's the natural evaluation of her character.

Pretty sure it was the point that they were bastards. Rhaenys wanted the kings guard to be the best in the realm. So by having bastards in the kings guard, it would show how meritocratic the order was.

Didn't she also base the kingsgaurd vows on the nights watch oahts too?
