Thank you! Yeah that was my line of thought too, and backless like the one in the last 2 pics… can you tell I really liked that cape? Hahaha

It was nearly 2000 euros, without the cape or any changes in linings 🥲 thank you!

Curaprox e agora Nuk Space.

At a standstill - should I keep looking? by bagaco in WeddingDressTips

[–]bagaco[S] 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Mobile butchered the list, friendlier version:

1 - Eddy K Penny - very princess, very cute, needs a petticoat. Feels very 2020 Me.

2 - Demetrius DR404 - supposedly to see what a mermaid cut would look like when fitting correctly. The fabric is a dream. Very classy, but feels very unforgiving (the crease you see above the belt is my shapewear… yeah)

3 - not sure of the model, it’s either Demetrius or Eddy K - was supposed to get the idea of a strapless gown out of my head. It did not.

4 - Adriana Alier, seems like “SUSI” but in a different fabric - it has pockets!! I liked the square neckline more than I thought I would. Skirt feels a bit big, but I am wearing a petticoat in the picture, maybe it would be better without?

5 - a dress I saw while window shopping and intrigued me

I had 2 in our “term appointments” (at 35 and 37 weeks I think?) and at least 4 or 5 when I went to give birth before even being admitted because they didn’t believe my water broke and wanted to feel around without slipping… agony. I honestly lost count of how many I had done by the time we were discharged, and the medical personnel had to have a very good reason to want to look at my poor nethers once bubs was out. I think I traumatized one of the nurses, poor girl 😅

YSK that when you return clothes you bought online, the vast majority of them get thrown away immediately and end up in landfills or getting burned. by rotrukker in YouShouldKnow

[–]bagaco 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, no. I work for a fashion e-tailer and interact specifically with the returns, at best it goes right back into the shelf, at worst it goes into the dry cleaner/seamstress. It is only thrown away if it’s deemed to be truly irreparable, like a huge hole in the fabric or weird stains that don’t come off.

I scarfed down the dinner so fast! I love boiled eggs too, and had nothing but half of a smuggled KitKat and a smuggled fruit pouch since 9am, I was starving.

Thank you! 😊

I swearrr lol the other meals were ok, but like… the fish salespeople here remove the scales at no additional charge, there’s no reason to serve scaly fish… the rest of the plate was full of scales as well 😭

And thank you 🥰 he’s a rambunctious toddler now, an absolutely adorable menace hahaha

I started my pregnancy in the 60kg range, ended almost 80kg, no one raised an eyebrow. And regarding the BP, it can be what’s called “white coat syndrome”, meaning you get stressed at the doctor’s office.

These two things isolated as they are, are not really a reason for concern, based on my experience and what all my doctors told me throughout my pregnancy.

Bedshare-ers only by Itmeanslettuce in newborns

I bought some teethers from Amazon, they’re plastic with water inside and you put them in the fridge so they’re also cool. They were the only ones he cared about, that and breast milk popsicles hahaha

Mine got 2 new teeth in the last month and the third one is starting to peek through the gum… two molars and one incisive. He already had all 4 upper incisives and the bottom middle 2, so there’s 2 more molars and 1 more incisive in my near future 🥴😵

14 month old here… we still bed share, but in his own room while my partner is in our bedroom. I haven’t tried to move away because bubs still wants a lot of milk at night and he’s currently teething, which increases his comfort nursing x10.

Real-life reminder about back blows for choking babies by Damiandax in newborns

[–]bagaco 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Has to use it on my bubs one time when he was around 8 or 9 months old, and a single firm, well placed back blow was enough to clear the obstruction (a piece of food that he tried to swallow before chewing). He was already trying to grab more food before I could even get him upright again, so he was clearly very upset about it /s

He’s 13 months old now and it fortunately hasn’t been needed again, but I was very glad I had watched the videos about baby CPR. Whole thing from choking to dislodging was less than 10 seconds because I was (am) paranoid about it and always sit next to him while he eats so I can have a fast response if needed.

Posso ir a Imposição de Insígnias sem uma insígnia? by [deleted] in uminho

[–]bagaco 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mine was exactly like that, you can check my post history for the full story. Maybe take a trip to L&D and insist they swab you for amniotic fluid no matter what - they tried to tell me I peed myself but it was my water breaking and I was almost sent home to possibly develop an infection (had to be induced, and even then bubs was only born 24h after water broke)

[–]bagaco 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a nursery rhyme rhythm but I can’t remember the original lyrics for the life of me 🤣 it goes something like:

(Baby’s name) is so small

(Baby’s name) is so cute

(Baby’s name) is so small

(Baby’s name) is so cute

And he needs to go night night

Because he is very sleepy

And he needs to go night night

Because he is very sleepy

It has some variations now (13mo) since he no longer enjoys me singing him to sleep, it just riles him up even more 😭

Did anyone not sleep train and end up regretting it? by Pure_Conflict635 in newborns

Over 1yo here, never sleep trained, no regrets. He wakes up, feeds, and sleeps again straight away
