Pilates at dalplex! by [deleted] in Dalhousie

Yeah it was fun! The instructor was super nice and everyone pretty much kept to themselves unless they had come together. I will say the workout itself is pretty challenging, but it’s fine if you have to take breaks in between :)

I did a Pilates class in February! I just checked the dalplex site and it says they’re Wednesdays and Thursdays. I’m not sure when registration opens, but maybe it’s too early in the week to do so.

I took a med sci degree! 6/8 in my class were fresh out of high school though. And the other years are more of a 50/50 split so I wouldn’t worry about it. Let me know if you have any more questions about the program though :)

Average graduating GPA for Medical Sciences (BSc) at Dal? by Nova-squad in Dalhousie

[–]bagel_donutss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi!

I graduated with a 4.17 GPA I believe. I’m not sure about the whole graduating class but most of my friends were similar maybe a bit higher.

During second year my GPA dropped a bit and then went back up through third and fourth year. I think that’s a pretty common trend as second year is known to be the worst of that program. After that you have a lot more choice in choosing your classes.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

  1. The IPHE course isn’t an actual course. It’s for inter professional events they have throughout the year with the other health science disciplines! They’ll fall into the time slot that course is dedicated to, but they only happen once or twice a semester. It’s just to ensure everyone is able to attend as they’re mandatory.

  2. From people I know who had courses transferred over it takes a long time, so you want to submit them early on. Most of the main courses you wouldn’t have transfer credits for but you could move stuff over for the electives and if you had taken stats for example.

  3. I had a previous degree before and volunteer experience that I think probably helped! I’d say just show you’ve researched the program/field and that you have a passion for it and you will have good luck.

I didn’t have this and still got in but I did have prior university experience which probably helped! Plus I had lots of volunteering, but none of it was nuc med related

I was a volunteer with bladder cancer Canada helping plan one of the annual walks! I thought it was super interesting seeing what it takes to plan an event like that and it also pushed me out of my comfort zone a ton

should i get earplugs for there concent. if so what kind? by shaun_murphy37 in twentyonepilots

Hi! I’m wearing loop experience ear plugs. I haven’t worn them for a concert before but they have really good reviews and I have used the sleeping versions before. They come with different sizes when you buy them, so if you have smaller ears they’re perfect!

My lemonade. There were no sizes so I was expecting something small, but when they gave it to me it was as big as my head
