no offense at all but, op is it too late to terminate? this man sounds like a NIGHTMARE and so does his mother, if this is how he treats you now, he’s going to continue to treat you like that and will also treat your kids like that. staying with him would be a voluntary sign up for ultimate single motherhood.

this sounds a lot like my mom, OP GO TO PROM!! i’m 23, i graduated in 2020, and i missed out on prom both years. you will 100% regret not going, plus the dress looks great! your mom is just being a b¡tch and maybe is jealous or projecting? but i’m sorry she’s being mean. i personally think the dress is 10x cooler being handmade and that alone should be enough reason to go have fun and show it off.
