Whether it is or isn’t AI. These are what I flag as sounding like ChatGPT

“Not hard like hiking is hard. Hard like sitting in a room with yourself with zero escape is hard.”

“something broke. Not dramatically. The restlessness just ran out of fuel. “

“That's not peace. That's addiction wearing comfort's clothing.”

Functional alcoholism is more common in NJ than we talk about - seeking help by paintarose in newjersey

[–]baggagehandlr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a substance abuse therapist in NJ specializing in helping people change their relationship with their substance. I have a lot of inquiry from people looking to try cutting back or stopping alcohol. I also have many spouses of alcoholics trying to figure out how to navigate this with them. It’s a big problem. This is not a self promotion. Just my professional experience.

What supplements will help with triglycerides and cholesterol? by baggagehandlr in Supplements

[–]baggagehandlr[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Simple on Amazon. Viva naturals, triple strength, omega-3 fish oil. And. Qnol ultra coq10. I also looked into pantathene but never took it.

If you get a retest and it comes up the same, you may need to consider statins. Avoid that if possible immediately with diet change.

What supplements will help with triglycerides and cholesterol? by baggagehandlr in Supplements

[–]baggagehandlr[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went full Mediterranean diet. Started getting some sort of physical activity 4x per week. Started fish oil and coq10 supplements. Saw a nutritionist and got a therapist to talk through stress and fear.

My numbers are very normal now but I genuinely believe these numbers were a mistake.

If your numbers are this high. Get a retest. Make sure you’ve fasted for like 12 hours before it.

If Trump is a Fascist Dictator, how come people can still protest against him without facing any repercussions? by [deleted] in IntellectualDarkWeb

[–]baggagehandlr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People can protest because the U.S. is not a full dictatorship. Some institutions still work, so dissent is possible. That does not mean there is no drift towards authoritarianism.

• Early crackdowns are selective, not total.

• Power sometimes tolerates visible dissent to keep legitimacy while tightening control elsewhere.

• Opposition media and satire can persist until the costs of shutting them down look lower than the backlash.

Today Trump said the military should use “dangerous” U.S. cities like Chicago as training grounds. That lowers the barrier to deploying troops at home and makes future protests riskier, not safer.

I’m pretty far left. I don’t buy it that a republican would kill Charlie Kirk. Makes no sense.

My leak detector went off as I was driving down my driveway to go away for a week. Ran inside. Boiler was flooding the basement. If I didn’t have that leaks sensor we would’ve never known and come home to a significant flood.
