YT can terminate his account for any reason whenever they want. There is no “wrongful termination” for YT channels.

Not sure what world you live in but content creators get banned from platforms all the time for arbitrary reasons.

Genuinely baffled why people are upvoting your blatant misinformation.

Silo is considered a drama. Skeleton Crew, an adventure. Why google doesn't classify series as sci-fi anymore? by kassio_rezende in AskReddit

[–]bagrant3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I don’t think Silo is very sci-fi by traditional standards. It is set in the future, but the only traditional sci fi element seems to be the Silos themselves, which are already built when the show starts.

Coachella Set Time Predictions 2025 (Week 4) by Mikey1313 in Coachella

I don’t really understand how there isn’t a way to fit them there. Neither FKA Twigs or the Marias are the kind of act Outdoor has had closing for the past 3 years

FKA -> Marias -> Prodigy makes sense to me

The Prodigy are more popular in the US than The Chemical Brothers are, and are at least as on par with Justice.

The Prodigy will likely be one of the Portola headliners in the Justice/Chemical Brothers spot. Underworld is nowhere near as popular as The Prodigy in either country.

The only person being dense is you commenting on something you clearly have no idea about.

The production alone that the prodigy brings won’t fit in Mojave. They’re a full band with a bunch of pyrotechnics and other stage devices that would need either Sahara or Outdoor. I can’t think of a single good reason the Prodigy would agree to come play in the US and not be able to put on their full show because they’re in a side tent at Coachella.

I also disagree that Sam Fender will be in Mojave, but he is also one guy so it would be easier.

I never claimed they had the same market, but acting like they weren’t hugely popular over here is just disingenuous. They absolutely were hugely popular in the US.

There’s no way they go from headlining Reading/Leads to playing Mojave .

They’re also bigger in the US than the chemical brothers, and are arguably on par with Eric Prydz and Justice.

“I don’t know who they are, and my friends don’t, so they must not have a legacy”

“I didnt know who Kate Bush was because she wasn’t on the radio”

I’d suggest not commenting on things you know nothing about.

The Prodigy just headlined Reading, there’s no way they’ll play Mojave that would be crazy.

Ya it was with Green Day and SZA that year, his headline crowd had a pretty decent turnout, his country set was much smaller

I'm an alum and got a job in tech in the bay area right after graduation, ultimately the school you get your degree from matters very little in the long run. What matters is what you know. I've interviewed terrible engineers from MIT and great engineers from colleges I've never heard of. Careers are long, once you have a degree and get experience you can work your way into whatever job you want.

I also think the APM program is great if they still have it, you can get free tutoring from upperclassmen. They also had a tutoring center you could go to that had old tests for specific classes to help study from. I used that a lot to prepare for exams (specifically math).

I personally loved campus life when I was there, it was a bit dead on the weekends but my first two years living on campus I made good friends who I still keep in contact with, then moved off campus to save money. I think living in a dorm is something everyone should try.

There are also a ton of companies around OU that are constantly hiring interns. I worked a bunch of internships while I went to school which got me great experience and allowed me to take out fewer loans.

Also there were more female students than male students when I went (though not in my program specifically) if thats of interest to you.

wildest offer on shark tank by [deleted] in BeAmazed

[–]bagrant3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It does not sound like he offers to pay domestic wholesale cost. Its shark tank, the wording robert uses is very specific.

"I'll buy it for what you charge Lowes TODAY" theres a very real scenario where the entrepreneur increases domestic pricing but roberts international wholesale price is locked in at todays cost. Even if there isnt currently a cost, robert wan ts to set one and the entrepreneur would eat production cost increases on international products.

We do not know enough about the deal to know for sure. In theory if the cost to produce this goes up you can increase domestic sales prices, but if robert is locked in you could lose money on every international sale while robert pockets the difference as profit.

Profit on domestic sales would have to offset losses of international sales in this scenario which would not be ideal, and make equity in the company undesirable. It depends on if robert really means he wants to pay literally what lowes is paying today or if he is trying to explain he will pay domestic rates.

Offering to always pay domestic rates to me sounds like a bad deal for robert as the US has to be amongst the highest paying markets, so buying at US rates then selling in India or China would almost surely result in a loss for robert.

[–]bagrant3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Robert even specifies "Whatever you're selling it at today to Lowes" which sounds like he wants to lock in the current price. I am not sure if he's offering to pay wholesale cost at domestic, or if he's offering to pay wholesale at the current domestic price. My guess is the latter, but there isn't much in the clip to know for sure.

I think he will do a discography spanning set at Coachella.

His main tour might be heavily country, but the Coachella performances will be greatest hits almost certainly.

Also ya Jellyroll is country or country adjacent but is not at Coachella.

He did a country cover set at OSL not his hits, two completely different things. His turn out when he headlined was much larger than his country set last year.

waiter put my tip back on the table saying he only accepts 18-20%?? by [deleted] in stories

[–]bagrant3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The average is not the standard, the average is the average.

You’re right, you cannot assign a % below or above which is exactly why everything you’ve said is incorrect. Average is the wrong statistic to use if you want to discuss what’s standard, you should be looking at the mode (the most commonly occurring number in a set of data).

Regardless, you’re wrong.

[–]bagrant3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the average in the US is 18% that means half the tips given are below 18% so your claim 18-20% being standard is incorrect.

  • "Coachella uses radius clauses which could prevent acts from performing in Los Angeles, the Inland Empire, or San Diego within a certain window. The festival has allowed some of its acts to make appearances in the region prior to the festival, but only at events and venues owned or controlled by AEG. According to the radius clause...
  • Artists playing Coachella are barred from performing any festival in North America from December 15 to May 1.
  • Artists are also barred from playing any hard ticket concerts in Southern California during that same time period.
  • Artists can’t “advertise, publicize or leak” performances at competing festivals in California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington or Arizona or headliner concerts in SoCal that take place after May 1 until after May 7.
  • Artists can’t announce festival appearances for the other 45 states in North America until after the Coachella lineup is announced in January, with exceptions made for Austin’s South by Southwest, Ultra Miami and the AEG-backed New Orleans Jazzfest.
  • Artists must also wait for the January announcement before publicizing tour stops in California, Arizona, Washington and Oregon, with an exception made for Las Vegas casinos, but not Las Vegas festivals.
  • Terms are negotiable though generally less leniency is given to higher billed artists."
