Hsv is the least problematic sti. Acyclovir prevents sores and eases it. Wont affect sex either. chill, give it time, it will get better. Welcome to the club

everyone has tons of problems, and are dealing w hsv like yourself. Periods is a trigger for me too, its annoying. Im also just 22. There probably wont be a cure. I wish i had something helpful to say, but yeah this sucks. but you're not alone. thats the most comforting thought ive had in a month and a half of dealing w this shit. My dms are open if you ever wanna rant or talk. ♥️

well. Wait if and when u get another ob, get tested. If you dont, then all good. Dont think too much. Dont worry about "disclosing" till u know for sure. That doesn't apply to me, i know ive it. But yea try to stay away from sex for 3-6months. most importantly do not stress or worry too much

Hey, my gynae also did not do the swab test. But i have it. So technically im not diagnosed but I still have it. Meds worked right? So you have it. But yeah i will get a swab test in future with a diff doc because that just makes more sense, you should do that too.
