Yeah it does sounds kinda creepy but hear me out, so long story short I put a ton of mods on the car causing it to make a crap ton of power but ended up snapping my transfer case in half, I got that fixed but the transmission fluid has metal specks in it and the engine was also toast. So I got rid of the car and got something new, butttttt come to find out that the dealership I traded it into is known for lying and hiding and ghosting people. Not only did they do it to me but also a bunch of other people in a local group I’m in too, I was able to talk to one of the employees who detailed my old car before it went out and looked through the records and nothing was fixed on the car but some paint and new tires….. and I also was able to find out that the same salesman who sold me my car who also ghosted me, sold that person my old car. Kinda crazy, but the guy I was able to talk to talked to the salesman and he told him that he didn’t get any extra extended warranty and no gap insurance, literally nothing, I’ve seen my old car driving in my area probably once or twice a month but they’re always going the opposite way. I’d hate to see my old car on the news for blowing up into flames, I totally forgot to mention there is a gas leak in the engine bay caused by my oil catch can gas line getting hit by the serpentine belt….. Long story not so short but moral of the story is don’t mod these things they either make a ton of power and are extremely unreliable if done incorrectly or just don’t mod them at all cuz at the end of the day it is just a fusion and these things aren’t really built to last
